Great spot to stay while hiking in Black Forest

Very clean with a comfortable bed.....all one can ask for in a small pension style hotel. Michael was a great host, providing information on the local area. BE Aware......if you arrive after 8pm , you need to phone to ask for a code to the lockbox with your room key so if you are not travelling with a phone or one with a local calling plan, you might be stuck !

A Traditional German Experience

Michael made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. He gave us a good run through on the appartments and Bad Krozingen.

This accommodation is very comfortable with a touch of "German traditional" and modernity. The room we had was amply large with a lovely modern kitchenette (no microwave), a small balcony with table and chairs and inside the room there was also a couple of comfy chairs and table plus a writing desk with additional chair.

When you get your key from Michael you pay a small tax which is offset by a gift card for travel on local trains and a town bus that stops right outside the appartments.

A super apartment in a great village

This is a fully equipped apartment including dishes, a stove, fridge, etc. The studio apartment was very spacious with a nice bathroom. The complex has a recreational room and a sauna. There is a vending machine in the rec room for snacks and drinks.

There is lots of free parking and the location is easy to find,

The owner/manager was outstanding, He pointed us to great local restaurant and was helpful in all aspects. It also has laundry facilities at a nominal cost.

This certainly worth a stay either short or long,

Lovely Base for the Region

Stayed in this wonderful place last week. Our apartment was spacious and well thought out all, well suited for our Mother/Daughter requirement as we also had 2 bathrooms. The Manager Michael was extremely helpful and friendly. This is a prime spot for Ramblers as well as a good location, slightly outside of the town if you are a car driver.

Excellent base to explore Black Forest Region

This was 2nd stay at apartments Biedermeir 10 days good facilities and well located with good free parking.
The proprietor Michael greets you and is exremely helpful pointing out local activities and services.
A nice touch is a bottle of wine and water in the room
Staying 4 days or more you get a travel card for all regional trains and buses including the convenient little Burger Bus that runs into town centre and rail station with a stop just out front - otherwise a pleasant 20 monute walk along the river.
You also get a free admission to the Vita Classica Spa both need authenticating at the tourist information office.
We used the train several times including a day in Basle.
The nearby medieval town of Staufen is well worth a visit it had the Ockoberfest weekend on when we were there.
Our room was at the back on first floor overlooking the large gardens it was clean with a compact separate kitchenette off and a large balcony a plus for smokers.
With self catering access to good shops is necessary and there is plenty of choice from supermarkets just a few minutes drive away.
We travelled by rail and used the car to visit places of interest and recommend including the Rheinfalls and taking the boat across to the viewing platform €7.50 person.
We were bothered by mosquito bites so worth packing something for bites this time of year.
