Nice jump-off base in Lourdes
Geronio Uon 16/10/2016 10:05Appart'hotel residence de Closeraie is a bdget, no-frills hotel in Lourdes. Located just beside the train station, it is a good choice for those who are traveling with time constraints. The downside though is that it is quite far from the Cathedral and the Grotto and demands, for those unfamiliar with the transport system, a little exercise when visiting the pilgrimage site. Breakfast is very basic and kinda "controlled". Over-all, it is still a good value due to its price, location, cleanliness and medium-size rooms.
Best for a whirlwind visit to Lourdes
Buddymoranon 27/09/2016 21:21Most of the popular places in Lourdes seen to be walking distance. So almost any of the hotels/apartels can be considered convenient. We were lugging around our baggage for a two week trip. So being right next to the train station was convenient. The places is basic. But for half the price of surrounding hotels, and all I needed was a bed since we planned to be out most of the time. The room was large enough. And a fridge and microwave were a bonus. Breakfast wasn't much variety. But the baguettes and croissants were excellent. There is no reception most of the time. So we were given the combination to the front door. And daytime meals are only served from 8am-12pm. I'm not sure what time dinner is served. For someone preferring the quality of pillows, blankets and towels of a hotel, this is not for you. But I still feel you get what you pay for.
Close to train station
velardemon 15/08/2016 17:30We stayed in a room with 3 beds with a view of the train station. The only positive thing I can say about this apartment/hotel is that it's close to the train station if you're a train traveler. Since it's not a hotel, don't expect someone to tidy up your room everyday. Towels are replaced but that's about it. There's a kitchenette so you can cook if you want. Air condition was working very well for us which was nice.

Praveen Pon 14/05/2016 18:18We got two triple room here for 2 nights . Hotel is next to the railway station. Lourdes sanctuary bus every 10-15 minutes starts from here . Rooms have gas cooker , fridge microwave utensils to cook basic meals . No staff available after 5pm . No room service or Restaurent . For food walking distance to all Restaurent area close to sanctuary . Take a note of check out time 10am . We were forced to pay extra 10 EUR for each room after 10am . Triple and double rooms are quite bigger than Paris city hotels .

Brian Lon 16/01/2016 05:50This neat, clean and quiet hotel is adjacent to the station. The modern rooms, with small kitchens, are simply furnished and practical. It's a perfect location for travellers and represents very good value. There is an elevator and the wifi signal, though slow, is reliable. They shower over the bath may not suit some people.
