Comfortable and convenient
Elizabeth Lon 07/09/2016 18:44We had a good stay at this comfortable and convenient hotel with studio style rooms. We had a bedroom with double bed, desk and chair, kitchen table and chairs, sink, microwave, coffee machine, fridge, hobs and basic kitchen equipment and tableware, ensuite shower/sink/toilet room. The price was good and it is really just a short walk to central Macon.
Staff were friendly and helpful and also spoke English to a good standard. Wifi was free and rather slow.
Parking is available if you book in advance- some spaces outside, some in a secure enclosed car park. All 5 euros per day.
Convenient and functional
pwchanon 14/12/2012 14:59We stayed here during a house hunting trip to Burgundy. We had at first stayed in the Morvan National Park in a little Gite in the forest but I wouldn't recommend that to anyone during the winter as you can get cut off very easily. It was a welcome escape to come here and have use if the facilities, especially the fast wifi internet. It has a central location, minutes walk from bakers and shops and parking facilities at the front door. You need to pay €5/day for a parking spot and there are plenty of spaces for free on the main road but we preferred the security of having our car off the road. The studio apartments are souless and compact but offer everything you need for a business trip or self catering city break. The beds are comfortable and the shower powerful. Don't expect luxury though.
