My wife and I have just spent 3 wonderful days in Dartmouth, but the thing that made it so special was staying at Appletree Court House. Shelly is a wonderful hostess and nothing is too much trouble for her, she ensures that your stay is truly memorable. The rooms (2) are lovely and spacious, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Breakfast is a delight with cereals, fruit and your choice of cooked breakfast. Shelly will give you tips on places to visit and also where to eat in town. Town is a 10 - 15 minute stroll downhill but a great cardio exercise coming back up, alternatively just catch the number 90 bus from town that drops you at the end of the road.
I would recommend Appletree Court for anybody wishing to stay in the Dartmouth area, and we hope to return in the not too distant future.

We stayed here for 4 nights on our Way to Cornwall. A delightful property beautifully clean and spacious. We were completely spoilt with lovely breakfasts and lots of help in finding good local restaurants, walks and places to visit .Shelley and Ollie we loved your beautiful home and you made our stay so relaxing and hassle free. Nothing was too much trouble and one day we will be back. We would definitely recommend you to our friends.

Amazing hospitality

We stayed for one night as our friends were getting married in Dartmouth. We were overwhelmed by the kind hospitality. The room was spacious and spotless. Beautiful views from the property. Fabulous breakfast too. We will look forward to staying again!

We had an excellent stay and can highly recommend it, extremely clean and beautifully decorated .
Wonderful friendly and accommodating hosts. I can not recommend the breakfast enough superb excellent choice, even delivered my daughters strange request of cold baked beans! Thank you very much for a comfortable, wonderful stay.

Just returned after two nights , wish it could have been longer.
The room was lovely, bed was so comfy and the whole attention to detail in every way was brilliant.
Everything was spotless and breakfast was first class.
Quite clearly Shelly is working hard to make sure everyone enjoys her lovely home.

Location is peaceful and we did enjoy reading the daily paper in the breakfast room before setting off down the hill to catch the ferry to visit Agatha Christie home which is a must.
Being National Trust Members we made the most of this location.
Plenty of places to eat and nice local shops to wander around
