Recently stayed at Las Piramides for 5 nights. Didn't expect much due to most of the negative reviews. I'd have to say the hotel is average, we made do with it as we had a limited budget. In my opinion I thought the food was bad, pretty basic and bland. The rooms were better than I had expected however, pretty thin walls so you can hear everything. The main reason for picking this hotel was the location, 10 minute walk from the strip and 2 minute taxi. The beach was also within a 15 minute walk with loads of shops nearby. The pool did get quite packed during the day and quieter in the evening, did smell a bit like like sometimes but was decent. Overall, I would have to say this hotel is basic and good for a quick holiday.

Not for Families or Kids

Just got back from Las Piramides yesterday , its an 18-30 hotel basically i cant believe families were taking their kids there ... surely you would read the reviews before you go??

Biggest dissapointment is no air con but we was aware of this before we went, location is perfect, staff do a good job , food is fine for all inclusive , the bar is good but long queue's and its very hot in there.

but seriously dont take your kids there is nothing for them to do at this hotel , no animation team and the shows are about 10 minutes long.

Sunbeds go very quick but some days i didnt get up until 2pm and still managed to find a couple.

So to some it all up if your after a party holiday and can survive a hot room then this is ideal for you, anything else id probably avoid

There was snot on the headboards and what looked like blood bogeys on the shower walls and was sequins everywhere where the room had not been cleaned properly from the previous people staying there. Disgusting

We visited here late june for 12 nights. upon arrival on Saturday at 8 . We were warmly welcomed by the staff an shown to our room . we had one of the villas beside the pool at the side of the hotel. As it was the end of the day I understand the pool was used during the day by other tourists, but walking in and looking in our pool for the holiday I was disgusted . cups and rubbish lying every where , bust lilos .floating about the pool. We went down for dinner that night and thouragly enjoyed our meal. The air conditioning in the room was great. Never turned it off the whole holiday. The first night was very rowdy outside what was to be our young childrens bedroom. So we changed and put them to our room. That night a few calls were made to reception complaining, another night I called and was trying for 10 minutes before some one even picked up to tell them about more noise coming from partygoers. The 'entertainment' that was advertised at night was a joke . out of the 12 nights we were there we only went down once to see a parrot show that was on, you couldn't of brought the children down to the bar at night god knows what they would see and hear , the language of some of the young ones were using , and I'm only 32 years old ! Literally nothing else good was on A QUIZ OR BINGO was the other options , now I'm not going to lie we did enjoyit was ve the parrot show but it only lasted 15 minutes . The bar has no airconditioning, full of young rowdy ones availing of the all inclusive drinks. so u were no sooner in than out . they charged 10 per picture with the parrots and u collect it the next morning . nothing special about it just a picture in a brown envelope , not worth 10 euro! Breakfast every morning was great , big selection, tasty. But the dinner in the evening after a week got very repetitive. to the point that in the last few days we ate out , couldn't face eating the same stuff again. There was a cockroaches about, one being in our bathroom, The front of house, bar staff, and cleaners couldn t off worked any harder . its just the people the hotel attracts would definalty be a reason my family and I wont be back .

Had a chair thrown at me by a drunk woman from 4 floors up! Landed no more than a foot away from me. Told staff, they said "ok".

This hotel is not for families, I saw 1 child under 15 in the two weeks I was here. It is a party hotel full of stag and hen do's. Which if thats what you are then perfect.

All inclusive was 2 drinks per person and a bit of a pain!

Food was extremely boring same stuff every night.

None of the staff smiled once whilst I was there.

Full of beggars outside the hotel on the corners, they seem to target it.
