Excellent Hotel
85laura85hon 29/08/2017 11:25I stayed here this weekend, (Friday - Monday) with 4 other friends. All staff were really friendly, helped us with directions and gave suggestions for good bars to go to. They couldn't do enough to help us. Pool area was lovely and clean and bar staff were out regularly to check to see if you wanted food or drinks. We were half board and were happy with the selection and quality of the food. The rooms were excellent, very clean and maids were in everyday giving fresh towels and making the bed. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone thinking about staying here
Avoid this hotel. Evitar este hotel
Skyporkeron 19/08/2017 23:03From the start we were disappointed. Upon arrival after a really stressful drive we were told that there was no parking available in the hotel. All booked up. Not very useful with a disabled child. We had to find somewhere else to park and it costs €20 a day. We were the told we were 'special guests' and we had been upgraded to a 'junior suite'. Well I've stayed in a lot of hotels and this was not a suite. It was similar to a travelodge with 2 rooms and a utility area in between. It was all very basic. No kettle, ironing facilities or other facilities you would expect for a 4 star hotel. We had a asked for a quad room as our son is 14 and daughter is 8. Not really appropriate for them to share a double bed. But this was all that was available. So adjustments had to be made. There was a safe, but that costs €4 a day plus €10 deposit. We were the offered a special deal for half board which we accepted. Upon entering the restaurant we were told that 4 soft drinks were free. The upon leaving they demanded payment as we were on a different deal. The restaurant staff were really rude and unhelpful. We speak some Spanish and they tried to swindle us and argued which ruined the evening. The food was mediocre at best and wad comparable to a school canteen. Mass produced and in a buffet style arrangement. The final straw was asking for a spare duvet for the room. There was 2 double beds and only a duvet in one room. The receptionist, Cesar, said only one was 'allowed' per room. I explained that wasn't acceptable as we had booked for four people. He said that was the rules would not help and more. For a four star hotel, I have never seen such poor customer service, lack of facilities and rudeness in 20 years of travelling. For €820 (£750) for 4 nights I feel absolutely disappointed with this establishment and highly recommend that you carefully consider other hotels prior to booking.
Do not stay here vile staff
Pesach Fon 16/08/2017 14:17The food is mediocre the service is terrible
Reception staff are vile. I was awoken from my room by a loud banging at 6am and informed if the friend I had to stay the night did not leave they would call the police and throw me out the hotel. I am a seasoned traveler and have stayed in many hotels over the world. I have never experienced such a vile attitude towards paying guests.
Be warned they do not deserve 4 stars.
Would not recommend this to anyone.(beware the reception staff some are nice but others are disgusting).
Boutique Style - Very nice
Squashymush39on 30/07/2017 21:23Upon arrival at the hotel the first impressions are positive. I would say the hotel is actually nicer than in the photos. There is a lovely aroma around the place. At first we were welcomed warmly with a fairly easy check in. The room we stayed in was a room for four people, so as a group of friends we didn’t mind having two double beds. Specify if you want four singles just to be on the safe side. The room was clean with plenty of towels and quite spacious. We had a television and a hairdryer and a small balcony.
As a group of girls (women) we were there to have a good laugh and on the first night we were told off by one of the other guests for making too much noise at night. The hotel policy is that at 11pm everywhere must be quiet, bear that in mind. The night receptionist was horrified and very apologetic that another guest had been rude to us. We conceded that maybe we should have been a little more considerate as it was 11:30pm. It is Lloret though……. !
We had a few breakfasts and this was worth a visit, cava is served with your breakfast if you want it. The Hotel was very good value for money in a Boutique style. The pool area is intimate and of a fair size. There is a DJ outside in the evenings which creates a nice friendly atmosphere. It really is a nice place. Four members of staff really stood out for us. The older guy behind the bar was curt and miserable. Jana the receptionist was ‘frosty’ and on a few occasions we heard her saying, ‘no, that’s not possible’ to other guests. The older man on the night reception was very sweet and friendly and was always warm and chatty. Lastly Raul was the young man who tried to help us resolve the mix up with the taxi booking back to the airport. We had ordered, and paid for, a private taxi transfer (£270 return) as we didn’t want to leave too early in the morning, we wanted to go directly to the airport with no stops. The day before (Sunday) I checked what time we would be picked up and the Hotel hadn’t booked it. As it was a Sunday the taxi company wasn’t open. I had received an email from the airline to say we needed to be at the airport 3 hours before departure. Not knowing our taxi pickup time the night before, we had to guess what time we should get up, which defeated the point of why we paid for a private transfer. We were told by the taxi company (via Hotel) what time they would be collecting us due to other airport runs. I was a bit annoyed by this, as I wanted to be at the airport early, following the advice from our airline. I politely expressed my disapproval to Raul. He genuinely seemed upset and embarrassed at what had happened and tried sincerely to assure me we would be at the airport in good time.
I would definitely return to this Hotel, as it was really pleasant and perfectly located, near the shops and the centre of the night life. Some staff would need to ‘lighten’ up a little and remember, ‘no customers, no job’ ! Take a leaf out of Raul’s book.
Fabulous hotel
MrsLyonbaron 20/07/2017 08:21Came here with friends for a hen do, the rooms were lovely and clean. The bar/lounge area is very quirky, and the restaurant was great with lots of delicious food to choose from, the only criticism is the pool area is small and doesn't have many loungers. The hotel is situated close to the beach and shops and is a quick walk to the nightlife yet far away enough so that it's nice and quiet. The staff were all really nice and accomadating with us, would definitely stay here again.
