excellent banquet hall, excellent staff and cordial behavior. beautiful location beside Kalyani Expressway. ideal for weekend spend outside Kolkata (40 KM from) with all kind of facilities.
have good restaurant, BAR and playground for kids.
its best value for money service you will get in business trip or personal one.

This is more than my usual budget for hotels, but after the last budget hotel I got this was a breath of fresh air. The hotel is beautiful and modern, done in bold colours, clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff was exceptionally helpful and the security was very careful about tracking the phone numbers and information of any taxi or car I got into at the hotel. The restaurant is fantastically delicious, with excellent service for the price. The clients were mostly business men and couples on the weekends. I highly recommend this hotel for tourists or corporates . The cost was more than I usually like to pay, but you get a greater value than what you pay for.

Good food with reasonable price

We had a dinner party with friends. Place was clean, well maintained, staff was very friendly and helpful (they re-arrange the sitting arrangement three times without any complains :) ), salads were amazing but start of the show was the biriyani !!!

Probably the only option in Kalyani

This is probably the only place available to stay in Kalyani i guess.

We reached here at 10:30 pm completely exhausted and ready to rest.
Inspite of an advance booking from the company there seemed to be goof-ups .
Since i was here on an official trip and had to start work early at 6am
we thought it would be too much of a drive from Kolkata with approximately 85 km of bad roads
and hence opted for this.
I don't know the room rent at this place but i guess it would be real cheap
because it lacks cleanliness at all levels.
General lack of awareness / exposure of the staff and management maybe the reason.

The woman colleague i was travelling with complained that she had a creepy feeling about this place and skipped food altogether.

It is basically a glorified BAR for Kalyani standards with an awful restaurant
i ordered a simple noodle thinking they couldn't go wrong with it,
but just couldn't handle the food since it had a strong Mustard oil and fishy flavour
(maybe this was my mistake too i guess)

For guys on regular sales / marketing / vendors / maintenance trips
who go through hell at other small towns this might be ok
i.e., if you are kind of used to the typical stale smell of food, fish,mustard oil, alcohol and smoke.
Bed linen was quite unclean too inspire of it being washed.
No lift in this place and ironically my room was 207, so 2 flights of stairs with all my luggage was back breaking + it had no light in the toilet.

This place is definitely not good for family stay unless you have no other option.

Nice joint for overnight stay, if you are stuck up at Kalyani and can't make it to Kolkata in the night

Hotel Aquatic Palace at Kalyani is located in a very serene surrounding. Though one should not expect all the comforts and facilities, it is a good place to stay if one is stuck up till late at Kalyani and cannot come back to Kolkata in the night.
