The deep woods surrounding the hotel makes the hotel appear more in tune with nature. The stone walls compliment the growing creepers, wild flowers and the hustle and bustle of the monkeys, squirrels and thousands of birds around the place. The resort has a multi-cuisine restaurant, a little towards the inside on the lobby level for about 50 persons. The restaurant is bright and airy and overlooks the swimming pool on one side and the forest on the other. The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and serves both buffet and a la carte meals.

SPMukherjeeon 21/08/2017 16:44Such a well maintained Hotel by a State Govt organisation is unthinkable. Spick & span with very strong wi-fi. Room was so spacious that it can easily accommodate three persons. Bathroom fittings are most modern and house keeping is of high standard. Staff is courteous and helpful.
Food was well prepared and very much to the taste.
Location of the Hotel within the forest area is well thought of.
It is also a MUST VISIT property in Kerala.

Sumeetbasranion 18/08/2017 16:46Hotel is located inside the forest reserve at Thekkady. It's an old but well maintained property and has lots of add on facilities like swimming pool, badminton court, bar, indoor sports room and more.
Only problem with the hotel is that since it's inside the forest area you cannot step in or out of the hotel after 5 PM, which restricts you a lot
Perfect place to Snooze
Shamrez Zon 13/08/2017 20:08The property is very well maintained and staff is extremely helpful and courteous. Apart from the monkey menace, the place has a calm air about it. A perfect place to be close to nature - you can spot variety of birds within the perimeter itself. The rooms are pretty huge (my 2-yr old had more than enough place to run around) with classic furnishing. Food is pretty good compared to other options in and around Kumily.
The place was just perfect for us.
Only suggestions to KTDC will be to include more activities and to improve infra for existing actives like table tennis.
Hotel is good for its Location & rains
Tushar_Jindalon 12/08/2017 20:44This hotel is situated in Thekkady. This property is of Kerala tourism. Rooms of this property are so so but weather & location of this property is too good. You cant find good food if you are a vegetarian.
