Impossible to sleep in summer
Galine Eon 17/06/2017 21:25The hotel is located at the intersection of two a bit outdated tram lines and the rooms don't have air conditioning. The last tram is passing a bit after midnight and the first tram is about 4:30. With windows closed it is way too hot. With windows open noise from every tram passing wakes you up.
Otherwise, unimpressive service.
Smoking room!
hi-troton 03/05/2017 10:57I stayed here for one night for business trip, It is located in the centre of the city so quite convenient for any kind of activity. The parking is also available although it is not free. What is astonishing is they have smoking rooms.
Good value
Nicole von 02/03/2017 21:34I stayed here one night for a business trip. Hotel is close to tram stop and city center. Room was spatious, clean and modern. I was at the back of the hotel, it was very quiet. Breakfast buffet was copious. Very good value for little money.
Beware of Cleaners
AliMead1962on 23/12/2016 17:35Comfortable, good size rooms with free wifi BUT went out for day & come back to find 2 x souvenir glasses had disappeared from room. Must have been the cleaner. Reported to reception & if our glasses turn up I will update my review but I don't hold out much hope. They were clearly not hotel glasses as were fancy steins with the name of the Xmas market we had visited & an emblem on the side. They were treasured memories of our time in Germany & we were unable to replace them. I now feel that the rest of my things have been sorted though & maybe other things have gone missing that we've not noticed yet. We had made sure we had our passports & cash on our person at all times as no safe in room. This experience has spoilt what had been a lovely break away. UPDATE - our souvenier glasses did re-appear on the morning we were due to leave. They had mysteriously been put into the cleaners cupboard! I think, waiting to see if we would complaign before taking them home for herself. I had an apology from the Head Housekeeper but no compensation offered. I still won't stay there again as would be paranoid about leaving anything in my room.
Fantastic beds
payerson 06/07/2016 22:05Stayed the night Germany got through to semi finals of euro 2016, was going to work summer party. Check in easy and quick, only spent half hour in room, but clean, very hot and no air con. Pretty standard room for hotel of this class. Stayed in a twin with my mate and have to say must be one of the comfiest beds I've ever slept in. Breakfast was obviously continental but plenty of choice and constantly topped up and fresh
