What People are saying

Modern Hotel made in Scandinavian style

trissyenon 26/07/2017 20:32

We spent 1 night in this hotel. I liked it from first view- modern, smart look with friendly service. Very nice, spacious room made in scandinavian style decor with clean bathroom ,free Wi-Fi and very comfy bed!!(important after 8hours of driving.
) There is also bottle of fresh mineral water waiting for you and at the reception desk is also another water with fresh mint & oranges if someone prefer.

Breakfast was good too- basically, all you need is available. Overall , it is a good hotel.

Modern, Clean, Friendly but.............

Vienna House is a very nice hotel and we stayed here for a long weekend at a special rate. First problem is...there is no restaurant for an evening meal. Tap in room 101 is very stiff to use and to regulate. Shower is only a hand browser in the bath and is less than optimum as is the climb into and out of the bath without a well placed handrail.
Breakfast was fine in a large room with plenty of variety of choice.
Back to the bathroom problems- why do hotels now even have baths when over 90% of people would prefer an efficient shower.
Overall a nice hotel but every establishment needs maintenance and constant upgrading. This is I think, a business hotel and we were tourists and that is a difference.

One night in Vienna House Easy

Considering the price for 1 night this hotel was unexpected, unplesant. Breakfast is also poor!
The carpet in room 206 is dirty with red subatance maybe blood.
The roof at the reception is not covered, only painted with poor black paint.

Nice hotel, sticks out of the usual

This hotel has its own specific style, it's a bit Scandinavian style: clean, spacy and well illuminated room, fast internet, good bed,... It also has a good way to contact the reception: you can simply send a message via an internal chat system. I asked for an iron/iron board, which was promptly delivered to my room (it would be better to have one by default in the room...)
What I really liked, was breakfast: it's a cosy restaurant, with plenty of choice, but all is presented in a house style that is different from other hotels. I'm a coffee drinker, but the people who like tea will appreciate the tea glasses with a slice of fresh orange and mint leaves...There is also a free bottle of water in the room, on the downside: there was no coffee (only tea).
Interesting idea: in case you don't want housekeeping to take care of your room, you can put a little bag on the door handle, which will be filled with a surprise (no idea what this is, I only stayed one night...)
