Well located, clean and friendly
Jade Hon 26/08/2016 13:52We stayed for 2 nights in a family room. The corridors and the room were clean, fresh and well decorated. The bathroom was not bad by was not up to the same standard. There was a nice pool set in a small neat garden. The hotel is well located close to a variety of restaurants in walking distance, opposite Gadawi Park for the adventure course and close to the motorway network.
A good budget hotel on the outskirts of Tours
renlimDron 01/09/2015 20:08This hotel is situated very conveniently to the south of Tours near a park and lake. The accommodation is very clean, modern and at an attractive price. Ample secure parking is available with evening dining of a very acceptable standard just next door. The location in the suburbs means that it is peaceful and a good nights sleep is assured.
Poor relative to other hotels, but quite alright.
Tim Jon 01/07/2015 20:44When you arrive in the hotel compound of Joue le Tours, you might imagine to have chosen badly but in fact Logis Ariane is quite alright. In fact it has a few tricks up its sleeve. Very fast free internet, a well situated outdoor all weather swimming pool and a reciprocal agreement with the next door restaurant so you can charge to your room. The room was fairly primitive and I was not impressed with the ubiquitous rubber mat under the sheet, but the room had a very good aircon which was much appreciated. I was in room 104 and the bathroom looked like a back drop from another era. Breakfast was a plain affair of cornflakes, coffee from an urn and croissant’s/baguettes. For the a/c and swimming pool this hotel deserves a second look.
Did what we wanted, no more, no less.
kyairion 22/09/2013 14:28OK, it's not the most attractive of hotels but if you're driving from Calais going south west it's perfectly placed for an overnight stop and this is the second time we've stayed there. I suppose I'm biased as we take our dog with us and not only does this hotel accept dogs there is also a large park across the road for walking the pooch.
The rooms are pretty much what I expect from this sort of place. Basic but well equipped, clean and functional. Wi-fi worked well enough for me.
The downside is that it has no restaurant although the Hotel du Lac next door and the Campanile along the road both do reasonable food although book early as they do appear to get full.
Breakfast was OK with plenty of choice and the secure parking is a bonus when you've a car packed full of holiday "stuff".
Poor compared to most
betelorgon 16/11/2012 18:51We toured the Loire by bike and this was probably the most disappointing hotel of all. Near the lake, yes, but lacking any feel except that of a cheap business hotel, everything being small and functional only. It was probably built in the mid 80's and was already a little tired. However, that said, the hotel and our room were very clean and the breakfast OK. Our bed was satisfactory and the bathroom very small but functional. The covered pool was very small although it may have delighted small children. If you have time there are lots of water sports to enjoy on the lake.
We were told on arrival that there are only 2 local restaurants and one was already fully booked, - it appears that at least one of them was owned by our hotel. We ate in the other, the Restaurant du Lac Joue-Les-Tours which was part of another hotel and not to be recommended if you are looking for something at all special.
If you are able to search for hotels further from Tours, you'll stand a chance of a hotel of character.
