Very excellent hotel with high rate quality Vs. Price. Very nice staff that took care of us with little gifts as chocolat sweets, ouzo and fresh water. Perfect location just in the centre of ioannina. The hotel has a little private parking. Excellent breakfast.

Old stylish hotel! Very good location and very friendly owners! Make you to stay more and feel as home! I have to come back! The lake is 2 min walk and surrounding is very quite! The room is clean and spacious!

Very nice clear room . The hotel was within walking distance of every aspect in Ioannina. The staff was very friendly! Breakfast was ok and the hotel had a parking space. We stayed 5 nights and it was worth it!

The Archontariki is a fantastic small family run hotel which I found by chance on TA. I can’t recommend it enough. My room in the roof was really lovely – loads of space with a big sofa and very comfortable. The room was full of nice details (as is the public space) which go to make this a true boutique hotel – I won’t describe them but leave them to other travellers to discover. The roof rooms are bigger but more or less only have sky views through loft windows which may not suit everyone. I used the small but very pretty courtyard garden out the back for a bit more fresh air. Room exceptionally clean and quiet even at the front. I was very pleased to have a kettle and a small fridge - handy for for cheese from the little cheese shop on the other side of Averof Avenue, just up from the Castle.

The hotel is located in the old town of Ioannina on a very narrow but quiet side street – one way so use satnav if driving. It’s no more than 5 minutes walk from the edge of the lake, the castle and a fabulous collection of very buzzy bars and restaurants plus small shops and a pedestrian zone. You can park at the side of the hotel but the family park for you to pack everyone in! Yannena is a gem of a town with lots to see and do and the mountainous areas have a dramatic quality at least as good as Switzerland.

Most of all I was so impressed by the family who did so much to make my stay – particularly when I arrived after very hard drive through the mountains. Staff helped me with my limited Greek and took a lot of time to explain places to visit. I felt really taken care of.

I’m in the process of booking for 2017!

Yes, you might find hotels in Ioannina with better prices, bigger rooms, more facilities and amenities, but you will not find hospitality like the hospitality offered in Archontariki! And propably you will not find such a quality and varied breakfast like this. I have stayed in many hotels but I haven' t really experienced such a hospitality. I will definitely come back to stay here, since I was also impressed by the city of Ioannina, which we didn' t have much time to see. By the way, one of the few times that I found such a fast wi-fi in a hotel!
