Just back from four nights in Arcos De Montemar, had a fantastic time, the Hotel is just 5mins from the beach and a short stroll to Benalmadena & Torremolinos. The Hotel is super clean and the staff are so pleasant and helpful. We were half board and the food was great, we are back again in October for 7 nights so what more can I say we had a great holiday.
Everything we needed - and no grabbing of sunbeds at dawn!!

We stayed here for two weeks bed and breakfast in July. We were allocated a refurbished room on the second floor. Balcony overlooked a typically Spanish terrace. The bed was extremely comfortable. The air-con worked at treat. The room was of average size for a double room. The bathroom was lovely with a walk in shower (two shower heads, one overhead and another hand held). The cleaners were excellent.
The pool was small but a lot of guests seemed to go the beach so it was often empty. The pool area had comfortable, non-plastic sun loungers. I was a little concerned at first that there were no sun shades available but there was practically always shady areas if it got too hot and plenty of areas to sit in the shade.
The hotel staff were all very friendly, polite and helpful.
Breakfasts were fine with plenty to choose from and the toaster worked better than most I have encountered.
The hotel wi-fi was great and never had a problem with wi-fi reception anywhere in the hotel (in other places I have found it is only reliable in reception areas).
The location was fine if you have reasonable mobility (it is a short walk across a road and down hill to the beach). Buses outside the hotel to Malaga, Fuengirola and other places- cheap but the journey into Malaga can be quite lengthy (about 45 mins) depending on traffic. Plenty of bar/restaurants within easy reach.
All in all a perfect little, traditional hotel for a relaxing break in a very busy stretch of the Costa Del Sol.

We stayed here from the 18th to the 25 of July. We arrived quite late in the night but were kindly greeted by Javier at reception, who is hands down one of the nicest men I have ever met he made sure that all of our needs were met from the word go! We were bed and breakfast which had its pros and cons but we were always well greeted when we entered the for breakfast by the one women who seemed to run this small restaurant all by herself! Although the only negative is that there could be an upgrade in the breakfast selection with some fresh fruit however that's all. Throughout the week we were always met by a friendly face at the front door as the majority of the staff are extremely kind. The rooms could do with a bit of a makeover and the bar area isn't very inviting however I would definitely come back here and recommend it to anyone, especially thanks to Javier who was always willing to help in any situation!

This hotel is fine, we stayed for 4 nights half board in June and had no problems, it is located on a main road but this wasn't a problem for us, very friendly and helpful chap on reception desk who checked us in, nice clean rooms, good free Wi-Fi in rooms, breakfast and evening meal were reasonable and did the job, there is an on site bar which isn't always manned but you just ring the bell there and the bar staff will quickly come and serve you, nice pool and plenty of communal seating areas both inside and out, there is a vending machine in reception stocking drinks, snacks and ice cream, a large supermarket virtually next door to the hotel and it's no more than a 10 min walk to the beach/sea front area which is packed with places to eat and drink, would stay again without hesitation.
