Good location, very good breakfast
Maria_Rafaelon 29/08/2017 09:36The room is clean, bead is comfortable, breakfast is very good and offers a variety of items. Parking is 18€ in the hotel secure parking area, but you can park on the streets behind for free if you find a spot.
WiFi works fine and is free.
I would recommend this hotel. It's very nice.
Great choice
sheffieldeatson 20/08/2017 21:25We were just in Hamburg for one night so wanted somewhere handy for the station. Great choice! Lively neighbourhood that felt safe to walk to hotel along main main to. A previous trip advisor reviewer called the area 'sketchy' - a term we have now adopted to describe anywhere a bit edgy, but well worth being In. 'Sketchy' in the way it was meant, it is not! We were given a free upgrade to a junior suite as the first room smelled as if someone had been smoking previously. They were happy to do this, so well done to the hotel staff. Great cafe over the way for plum and apple cake, as well as range of meals. Handy also for meals at Frau Muller. Seek it out!

Convenient, comfortable, clean
Rita Hon 10/08/2017 12:16Conveniently situated hotel not far from the main station. Comfortable and clean rooms, although the bed was too soft for my liking. Long queues at checkout in the morning so not so good if you happen to be in a hurry to get to an appointment.
Nice Hotel very poorly managed...
ChasWHUFCon 10/08/2017 09:04Had a small group (17 persons) in this hotel for 4 days. Nice rooms with good breakfast in a central area 5 mins walk away from the lovely boulevard of Lange Reihe (Frau Moller etc). Sadly the stay was spoilt by awful management who tried to charge twice for breakfast , including stopping people from entering (!!) extra costs for non-existant people staying and pre-arranged upgrades where rooms with free minibar (re-stocked just once) were charged for drinks out of it. Asked to speak 3 times to the hotel manager....always too busy to meet. Two weeks later and i have just had an email with poor excuses, hardly what you expect from a 4.5 star hotel in Germany.
Hotels are all about their staff....and if the management is not interested in their guests issues then you know you have problems.
