Love this place

Had an absolute ball at the Area Hotel in Calis Beach with my mum and 3 of our oldest friends. Yes, the hotel is in need of a few repairs (tourism is so low at the moment and really needs to pick up for this to happen) but it's clean and housekeeping is done daily. The Area is right on the beachfront with plenty of sun beds and the most amazing views and sunset. Food and drink in the pool bar is great and very reasonable, there are plenty other beautiful restaurants along the beachfront which we all enjoyed too. Everyone in Calis Beach is genuinely very friendly, just love this place and can't wait to return. A huge thank you to George, Ramazan, Ayden and the rest of the staff at the Area for making our holiday so enjoyable.

Amazing hospitality

Some people moan because hotels is the smaller resorts need repairs. Yes they may be right but how can they make the repairs when tourism has dropped so much. Nut let me tell you the staff and the food and drinks and so good and that makes up for a few little repairs. They make you feel like you are the only people staying there and the location is second to none. Mo need to pay for sun beds because this place is right on the beach and have their own sun beds. I habe stayed there twice this year and would go amywhere else now. Remember you get what you pay for. Totally recommend this place. George on the bar with harkan are brilliant and ramazan on reception well he is just a lobely man. Thank you for an amazing holiday again area otel xxx

If it's 5 stars luxury your wanting this hotel is not for you, in fact if your looking for luxury of any kind this hotel is not for you, but if your looking for a great holiday and great people this is the best place to go, it's dated but very clean, the staff are amazing and very helpful the food in the 1905 pub within the hotel grounds is excellent value as are the drinks prices. The location is second to none and should you choose to spend your holiday here you will find a mixture of German, Dutch, English visitors who return here year after year. Breakfast at the Hotel is typical Turkish with a selection salad items, eggs, breads, Jams, cheese, and on some days various cakes and savoury pastries all very nice. If you don't want to stay you can always use the 1905 bar to have your evening meal and drink and watch the fabulous sunset you will be made very welcome. best wishes for a good season to Aydin, George, and Ramazan and all the other staff. Me and my friend stayed here last Sept and loved it that much we booked again as soon as we got home, only 4 sleeps now and cannot wait for our return. The staff and management are very friendly and helpful, rooms are a little dated but comfortable and we both had lovely sea views. this hotel is situated in a perfect location right on the beachfront and close enough to bars and restaurants without being disturbed at night

Just returned from my second visit to the Area hotel. This time to attend a wedding. I love this hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was plentiful, turkish style, although not a lot of choice for some. Rooms were clean. Toilet seat needed attending to but the bathroom was good with a very powerful shower! . Would have loved to have had a fridge to keep water cool. Beautiful views over pool and sea. Pool is clean but can be slippery around the edges. Comfy beds which I had no difficulty sleeping in. A few new bulbs in the lights would be nice as the corridors are quite dark at times. Cannot wait to return soon.
