This hotel is pretty cheap and we were happy with what we got. The team is very nice and friendly. The hotel for the greek standard is nice. There are two kinds of building. Old building and old buildings which were renovated. We were in renovated ones.

What I really did not like was:
- Not enough children chairs and the ones which are there are not clean at all.
- The cleaning stuff is coming to the room every day but they DO NOT clean. Would be much better to come twice in a week and clean properly instead of everyday and just pretend to do something. I think in two weeks the wet wipe the floor if at all once.
- The area for kids is in the sun and therefore the things cannot be used because really REALLY hotl They even have a sign saying "do not use the things because they are hot" So I wonder why they just don´t put some sun protection over the whole area.

The worst service, the worst people ever!!!!

I have spent 12 days in Argiro Village accommodation with my husband.
From 22.08.2015 to 03.09.2015.
The facilities are not very old and looked ok, but these guys.... really they don't want to work and they are doing the best NOT to have new customers in the future.

Why all that you'd probably wonder?
Let's start from the fact that my husband and I paid for a double room and breakfast. The breakfast was extremely terrible! Nothing and when I say nothing I mean it....NOTHING was good enough to be eaten from a normal person.
This kind of breakfast, I wouldn't give it not even to my dog! The milk was diluted with water (100%), the yogurt was NOT greek yogurt, it had a terrible taste... like it contained putty inside, the honey....100% was diluted with corn sirup and had a very strange taste and smell, the yellow cheese had no taste at all, like eating paper and there was ONLY pork slices available, no turkey breast, no chicken slices and OMG the Nutella.... was one of those with the bad smell and taste! Not to mention the freezed bread they served, the tomatoes and cucumbers which was like they found them on the street and they put them on the breakfast table so the...''stupid'' tourists will eat them!

Really???...These people were trying to gain money by serving the worst quality food EVER in their hotel!!!

As for the cleanliness of the rooms...! The cleaning ladies were passing by the rooms to...''clean'' (which means: put new towels, fold the sheets and change the garbage bags- only that), every 2 - 3 days and when we asked when they will pass by because the floor was stinking, the responsible guys in the reception-pool (because there isn't any front office available there!!!) answered that the room will be cleaned every 2-3 days and we asked them at least a garbage bag to change the bin (alone!!!) because flies would enter our room!

The floor was almost never clean and we had to do this also by ourselves and of course the bathroom was never cleaned, the salt from the water was everywhere and the sh***t was always in the toilet even after the ladies came in our room and ''cleaned''!

Another terrible thing was that when we asked for the remote control of the air condition (because especially at nights it was pretty warm to sleep), the ''responsible guys'' told us that we must pay EXTRA 7 Euros per day!!!!!! in order to be able to use the Air condition machine!!!!
This was nowhere mentioned in the papers we got from the travel agency and it is nowhere mentioned in the website of this ...hotel!
Of course we didn't pay the 7 euros and we bought a big fan for 20 euros, used it and then we gave it away to a very poor guy we met!

Sth else... When my husband went to do the check out, the hotel guy talked to him not polite, like my husband was his friend and they new each other for long time ago! Excuse me, but we paid upfront to stay in that hotel and we were expecting at least a polite behaviour since we were its customers!

There isn't anything else to say about this hotel... we should pay more attention to the bad comments in the trip advisor website before we choose to stay there. If anyone chooses to stay there... be careful. Just that. I didn't know the people who work there before and certainly I don't want to see them again in my life!

I would really appreciate it though if all the members of the Trip Advisor could spend more time to write in detail, as I did, whatever was wrong with the hotel which accommodated them, so other people won't have similar awful experiences.....

Lovely staff basic accommodation get what you pay for!

Recently stayed here for 4 nights to attend my sisters wedding in kolymbia. We arrived 2 hours late due to flight delay but someone was there to greet us and quickly got us to our rooms at 1:30am.
This hotel is on the main road away from afandou village so we used taxis everyday into kolymbia.
Rooms are basic but clean, towels and sheets were changed twice in 4 days!
Breakfast was basic with toast, cereal, yogurts etc but what more do you need!

Hotel staff are very friendly, especially on our departure helping us with our transfer they couldn't do enough for us.

At the end of the day you get what you pay for with this hotel, somewhere to lay down on a night in a clean room.

Lovely introduction to Afandou, but .......alas!

First visit to this apartment village was with friends in June 2001. To be brief, the apartments were situated in well manicured gardens and had all the amenities that you could wish for. My friends my wife and myself all loved the place! So it was very disappointing to revisit last summer for a drink and a nosey. I think there were new owners (or so I was told by one of the very few visitors in the bar/food area). Anyway the place had a totally different feel to it than it had previously. The tables were covered in dirty crockery and glasses, and the staff (young adults) were more interested in impressing each other than they were with impressing me! In fact the staff were surly and unhelpful, and although there had been cosmetic changes over the years, the overall feel was 'tired'. I got the impression that I would not have enjoyed staying there if I had booked.

The hotel is very dirty, breakfast very poor, unfriendly people welcomes you, child's area not usable, pool very dirty ( noboby cleans it ) food discusting, beach of stones, no sand and very far from the hotel, have to cross the highway to get there!!! The hellllll... Never again. Very disapointed.
