Fantastic Break
Bernard Gon 11/01/2017 19:05I visited for a short break after a hectic Xmas period.
Great to relax in the spa and enjoy the great hospitality of the staff.
Also the surrounding nature is very beautiful.
Not my first visit to this hotel, but once again one at the top of my list when in Germany.
Hope to visit again soon
VERY FRIENDLY STAFF
Aleksander22on 27/02/2015 23:03To tell the truth...if the staff would not have been that friendly and nice as they were, we would have left. Great location, great sea view but the rooms are out dated already 5 years ago. If you only look at the tv you still believe DDR times might just have passed. The guy at the bar does the most fantastic drinks and has won a lot of prizes and reception and housekeeping are very nice, like actually all of the staff!
Still, this hotel needs definitely renovation! And, believe it or not, they charge for WiFi!

Sesamoidon 21/09/2012 15:34It's a nice hotel, good location (could probably get a hotel a bit nearer to the main restaurant area though). It has pretty good service overall, the room was a bit ordinary for 4 stars but clean and tidy. Didn't try any of the facilities but they looked pretty good. The breakfast buffet was very nice.

CH_20111222on 21/08/2012 20:30Hotel has a big reception hall and good facility. The building itself is ugly, but great location, and nice bar and restaurant. Room is a bit old and nothing special.
We encountered 3 staff at reception, each one of them was VERY strange and unfriendly. Service quality is not even comparable with 2 stars.... Given one example, we arrived at 11am, just wanted to store our luggage, when we approached the reception, they kind of shouted at us, and said there's no room available this early! We said we simply wanted to store the luggage, she said luggage room was full, we kind of insisted, the luggage room turned out to be half empty...
When checked out, they didn't even give us any bill, but asked us to pay an amount directly, I was shocked, but thought nothing could go wrong, after paid and received the bill, of course there was a mistake, and it took them more than 15 mins to correct it....
Breakfast buffet is very good with lots of variety, service was also great!
Luckily we moved to another 4 star hotel the last night, where we experienced great reception, super service, modern and new room! Otherwise, we could have thought the poor reception is normal in this area! Maybe this hotel staff is not trained to handle hot season when there're more guests....
Wonderful hotel right at the promenade
girbiton 02/07/2012 16:50I spent a weekend here relaxing. My room faced the ocean and was wonderful. The only thing that was not perfect was the lack of soundproofing to the hallway - you could hear everything that was going on there with the door closed.
Hotel staff were wonderful. The breakfast was wonderful. Would definitely stay here again and hope to bring the whole family next time!
