Sabina Kon 24/05/2017 16:38This Hotel has 2 buildings: old (really OLD) and new. We lived in a new one. So the room was big,clean,but with very small and not really comfortable bathroom. Good location in the center. Really fast wi-fi. And very bad,awful breakfast (only cold food,nothing warm) in a too small room.
ideal place for a short stay
Rafał Zon 10/04/2017 19:02Perfect place for short family's break in Berlin. Quiet and tidy. Free and safe parking. Near U-bahn. Nice breakfast. And in the afternoon just a short walk to Charloterburg park or to the nearest bar to have a coffee.
Good location
Teukkaon 21/01/2017 13:12Cheap, cosy and good location nearby the both city center and airport. This was our last stop before flight.
Hotel located beside a main road, but it was still very peaceful place.
Hotel clerk were helpful and friendly.
Room was big enough but a bathroom was quite small.
We didn't take breakfast because of our early flight.
To date, the WORST hotel experience ever!
SiberianKrskon 03/01/2017 15:37First, even though it says it's a non-smoking place, it was extremely smoked!! 5 mins spent in the room and all your clothes smells terribly smoked. Shocking!
Second, we (there were 3 of us, my parents and I) got a different room from what we booked: instead of 3 single beds we got a bunk bed! What is it, a cheap hostel?! At least, in hostels the rooms are not that awfully smoked!
The stuff was unpleasant too. They refused our request to change the room, even though it was a wrong one! We applied to the owners of the hotel for a refund. They, of course, refused it too. We've never felt so horrible, deceived, and humiliated. It didn't worth a cent!
Do not stay in this hotel! The pictures are very well photoshoped. It looks different in reality. You deserve better!
Berlin at Christmas
Katie Ron 29/12/2016 18:58While visiting Berlin just after a terrorist attack, at Christmas no less, is not ideal, the Arktur Hotel was clean and accommodating! The room was in the new building, large (3 person), and had great windows and we had no issue with the heating or anything. No phone, fridge, or clock in the room, which was an issue since at Christmas most things closed and we had a grocery store dinner in the room. Breakfast was very packed and not enough room usually, but owning to the holidays that's understandable. They were very efficient at check-in and out though and English wasn't a problem usually either. It was right on a bus stop which was great and a pretty close walk to the underground too. This trip to Berlin was not amazing, but the hotel was a refuge that we enjoyed while there.
