Accommodation clean and adequate Breakfast room and breakfast leave a lot to be desired If you are sightseeing in Rome this hotel is too far out taking between 30 mins to 1 hr to reach central Rome depending on traffic

This hotel was rated as 4star but I don't know who by. Our room was in a separate building at the back of the main building. There were no lift facilities to get from one building to the other and a great many steps to carry luggage up and down. Shower was so small with inward facing shower door which trapped you once in there. No facilities for an evening meal and dining room was very small and narrow. Food lukewarm. Bar was unmanned and mixers seemed to cause a problem, no tonic to go with the gin no lemonade to go with vermouth. No facilities brochure in room, therefore we didn't know there was a sun terrace until our last day. Stairways were dangerous as sensor lights didn't come on until you were halfway down and no handrails on marble steps!!! Certainly wouldn't rate above 2star and certainly wouldn't use again.

Stayed for 2 nights, everything was reasonably fine, friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, good breakfast, special thanks to the lady at reception for her extra mile at her hospitality! Although the hotel is located far away from city centre, it's great opportunity to experience the local community!

Very out of the way hotel for Rome. Busy bus journey into city.
No good for people with disability or limited walking capacity as main building has no lift or handrails on stairs. Lighting in the corridors at night was poor.
The bar was very poorly stocked with no ice at all!
Breakfast area far to small to accommodate all the guests, often running out of plates etc.
Dirty sheets and mould in the bathroom.
Staff quite rude.

A very well appointed and stylish small hotel in a suburb of Rome.
Staff are very helpful and friendly; public areas are stylish and clean; rooms are clean and whilst not large are more than adequate for a short stay; and the continental breakfast is very good - it includes scrambled eggs and Italian bacon.
Getting there is not hard but does take some planning unless you want to pay a taxi fare. We flew Ryanair into Rome Ciampino, caught a bus to the city's central rail station Termini and then the very good Metro train from Termini to Conca D'Oro. All of this is easy to do with a little planning.
The hotel itself is in a quiet suburb of Rome and is near an area of trendy bars and nice eateries. However, when you come out of the Metro station it looks like a scruffy suburb of Rome - that's because it is (graffiti,some litter and tenements). Whilst we (two fairly well traveled couples) did not feel intimidated by this I can imagine that this might be unsettling for some. We were there for two nights using the Metro for every journey and never did we feel threatened or uncomfortable.
Again, I emphasise the benefit of planning to ease the journey from the Metro to the hotel. The hotel is approx .7 to 1.1km away on foot and is up a hill so careful planning of the route (Google Earth etc) is highly recommended.
The shorter journey involves the greatest incline - it's not an immense hill but noticeable if you have luggage and especially if you have any mobility problems.
We chose the slightly longer route because it involved less of an incline and has the added bonus of taking you past the very nice local bars and eateries. Basically, go south-east along Viale Tireno (this is the longest part of the route), turn left at Corso Sempione (this is where the bars etc are), then left at Via Gargano and then finally left into Via Monte Altissimo - the hotel is a short distance up an incline on this road.
We would stay at this hotel again.
