What a huge room!

Wow. We walked in and were stunned by the size of the room. It's fantastic! Comfortable sitting area, desk, large bathroom. Fantastic location. You can see the palace when you walk outside. Close to shipping, restaurants and sites. Friendly staff. Fantastic.

Short visit

Central location in the town of Buzau with convenient parking. Rooms are big, bed is a little bit too low but comfortable. Basic continental breakfast.
Dinner in the same restaurant was not that good.
4-star is overrated for this hotel.

Nice, comfortable, better than expected

We stayed at Hotel Art for 5 nights , while visiting family in Buzau. We had a very comfortable stay and great friendly service. The hotel has free parking and it is located centrally in the city, close to City Hall and Financial District. We loved the easy access to everything. Breakfast was very diversified, many options, all fresh and the espresso machine great addition.
We will book it again for sure.

Good enough for sleeping

Old school hotel. i was there for 5 days. 4 stars seems to me a bit overated (but i don't have any comparaison in Romania). The room was quite big (sofa, 2 beds, desk). Wifi was good (even if it did not work for a night).
The mini bar is well funished. Reception is ok. The hotel is well located in the city. I was not bad, but the experience was mediocre.
However, I think I will try another hotel next time i go to Buzau even if it is maybe one of the best.

Expensive and overrated

I stayed at the hotel for one night (fortunately), and I really don't understand why people review it so well. It is an average hotel. I stayed in a twin room, and it is definitely not worthy of the 4* mark. The carpet had stains on, the furniture was the cheapest one you can buy (the beds are made of the cheapest wood substitute, the mattresses are cheap spring mattresses, no memory foam, nothing), the two chairs in the room try to look arty, due to the fabric print, but the room is a disappointment. It is quite big, but the first impression is that it isn't finished. The bathroom looks quite nice, indeed, that's the plus side of it.
The hotel looks nice, the hallways have nice furniture, so does the lobby. I don't understand why they didn't replicate that in the rooms as well. However, the hotel is right in the city center, and it is quite noisy at night, since the rooms overlook the main boulevard.
Be aware that the restaurant is closed during the weekend, so don't expect a nice and refreshing breakfast on a Sunday, as there is none. We had to go to a gas station restaurant to eat some breakfast.
For all these, the price is huge, especially for a little town like Buzau. In any other town comparable to Buzau, the room rate for such a room is 50% less. What a disappointment! I will definitely not return here.
