Lovely quiet garden; food less special
TravelAnnie3357on 29/06/2017 19:58The setting is charming and a lovely retreat from the bustle of the town. The service, however, was inattentive verging on disinterested and we waited nearly an hour for fairly average food. The pot belly pig was a quirky distraction.
Lovely peaceful setting ...shame about the miserable staff
BerkshireDannion 17/06/2017 17:36On recommendation visited for lunch if only to see the micropig, ferret and rabbit ... the food was tasty and reasonably priced. The setting was peaceful and pretty but what spoilt it was the miserable faces and attitude of all six of the waiting staff we saw whilst there.... guests want to be greeted and served with a smile, please take note Artis Domus if you read this review. We did return for a second lunch visit whilst holidaying in Sorrento and again the staff lacking any friendly attention.
Not bad
Djohnso5on 13/06/2017 07:24Not a bad restaurant. The place itself is wonderful and the gardens and setting is lovely. The food was ok. We had a set menu for a big party and the salads and first courses were good and very tasty but the steak was over cooked and chewy! Overall the staff were very friendly though.

UMPathon 10/04/2017 21:41We went here for an evening meal because the place looked nice and there was an interesting menu. Good start. Downhill thereafter....
After a quick start = rapidly shown ( albeit vaguely) to a table, the delays began. It took quite a while before anyone came to take an order. Then when they did they did not know the options available for the catch of the day to and eventually just gave the order pad to another waiter - who promptly disappeared for quite a long time. Eventually an order was placed. Then the really Long delay began.
The flood was good: tender octopus carpaccio, nice fish risotto to start but aeons to wait for second course.
At the end we were told service was not included in the bill. We decided that as it had not been included with the meal a tip was not appropriate.
Not what we paid for
KathyKinderon 31/12/2016 19:49Location was good and the apartment was clean BUT, we booked and paid for an apartment to sleep 4 including a separate living room with sofa bed but when we got there, there was no sitting room, no sofa bed, no freezer, microwave, kettle or toaster. Agents bought us a kettle but neither they nor the hotel would take responsibility for our having the wrong apartment. Hotel totally ignored my written complaint when we got home an although the agents did respond initially, they are blaming the Holiday Lettings website which they say was wrong and have ignored my last 2 emails. Luckily there were only tow of us but the lack of a comfortable place to sit made it very difficult for my husband who has back problems. All in all very disappointing
