Great Staff and Good Accommodations
Luv2Tour2on 06/08/2017 12:38We flew in late at night and were leaving early in the morning, so all we wanted was a least expensive way to spend a night in Berlin. We booked this hotel on Hotwire and ended up paying about 80USD for the night. The ride from TXL to the hotel was about 20 Euro each way, and took about 20 minutes without traffic. There are a ton of restaurants nearby.
Front desk staff was very courteous and made an effort to help out. Our luggage was stranded and we got an extra bathrobe in the room to use as a pajamas, and some additional toiletry stuff to help us out overnight.
The rooms are prettily decorated, and there was enough space for all three of us. The beds and the bed-sheets were comfortable. Bathroom had everything we needed. The one thing I did not like about the bathroom, which is very common in Europe in general and in Germany in particular, is that when the shower and a bathtub are a combination, the glass screen/splash guard is very narrow. In this hotel it was even narrower than usual, may be a foot and half. Needless to say, the water splashing off my head and body, was on the floor. Not a huge deal, since we had a floor towel.
Overall a good stay.

, this is just as live in a sauna for 1 week, check with hotel If this has been fixed before you book a room
Great hotel, very basic breakfast
18Jameson 24/07/2017 20:49Lovely hotel, great service at the front desk. A large public garage right next to the hotel, ideal if you are travelling by car. Large room, fashionably designed. Centrally, yet located quietly. Breakfast is very basic, not worth the price.
Nicely Situated Hotel-Close to Uhlandstrasse U-Bahn U1 (5 minute walk)
7thnovemberon 19/07/2017 08:02Stayed here for 2 nights in July. I was given an upgraded Business Class room and was very impressed with the size and function of the room.
Didn't take advantage of the lobby area bar, but it seemed to be very popular with the guests.
Hotel is located in a very walkable area of Berlin.

Anna Son 16/07/2017 03:22A really nice hotel situated in a quarter full of little bars and good restaurants. Also in a walking distance from the Berlin Zoo. Clean and nicely designed rooms. Well equipped bathroom in terms of complimentary cosmetics.
