Great B&B for seeing Edinburgh

Great B&B. Comfortable, clean, and great location.

Free parking in their driveway. Bus stop is just outside the door. 1.60 pounds into the city in 20 minutes. Bus runs every 20 minutes Super easy commute directly into town. Bus also runs to the airport, which is just 10 minutes down the road.

Hosts Wendy and Brian were very friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were great and they went the extra mile to get us things not normally on the menu, and to serve us breakfast early in the morning on our last day and departure to the airport.

They recommended a restaurant to us called Toby Carvers. A 5 minute drive away that served great food. Freshly carved ham/roast beef/turkey and fresh vegetables and other items. We ate there 3 times in 4 days. After the first day they give you a 25% off coupon, so 3 people ate a Sunday quality meal for 24 pounds. What a deal

We received a very warm friendly welcome. Our room was very clean and comfortable.
Brian and Wendy were very friendly, Attentive and helpful. There recommendations and advice were very much appreciated.
The house is on the main bus route into the city centre which saves all the hassle of navigating through Edinburgh and finding a parking space.
The breakfasts were very good and freshly prepared. We would recommend my friends and family to stay with Brian and Wendy, thank you .

We had a fantastic stay. The hosts were friendly, offered advice on getting around and seemed to go out of their way to assist us in enjoying our stay. Quite rooms and a great breakfast
Tip - you do not need to rent a car if you are popping to Edinburgh to see around. This is located on airport express bus route. pick it up at the airport and you will be dropped off 20 yards from their door. That same bus will take you to the heart of the downtown for 1.60.

Birthday trip

I booked a weekend trip for my husbands birthday. This is the first time I have booked a B&B in Edinburgh.

I will certainly book again. Brian and Wendy are very friendly, welcoming and very helpful. The rooms are lovely and bed was very comfortable. You can park your car and use the bus service into the city. With a bus stop right outside and the airport bur running every six minutes the is very handy.

We had a fabulous weekend and would definitely book again.

Stayed here on our first night in Edinburgh, we weren't too sure of the surrounding area but the owners were fab - they gave us loads of helpful information on places to check out, buses to use, etc, and made our stay really comfortable and enjoyable. Would definitely recommend :)
