Very nice B & B
Woodward63on 19/08/2017 15:53We stayed 2 nights at the Ash House. It's in a very tranquil location and the setting is very picturesque. The hostess made us feel very welcome. The room was clean and spacious, with a huge bathroom. The dining area you can look out the beautiful garden. The breakfast was wonderful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
A very comfortable hotel in a quiet location
TomnBobbieon 15/08/2017 18:48We stayed for three nights in order to visit family in nearby Yeovil and spend some time touring Somerset and Dorset. Our room was extremely comfortable and well equipped. Breakfast served in the conservatory was a delight. The hotel stands in it's own grounds in the quiet village of Ash. The location is vey convenient for the A303. Can recommend this delightful hotel.

TrevorLindarson 06/08/2017 17:39Just spent three nights here and really enjoyed the great hospitality and relaxing atmosphere in this charming village hotel. Well situated with ample parking and a well-stocked bar (esp. if you're fond of the odd dram or two).
Birthday celebraion
alan3raymondon 06/07/2017 09:43This is a very quiet relaxing hotel. Gordon the owner and Gordon in charge of supplying a wonderful breakfast both helped to make our stay very pleasant. The one sad thing was that we were not able to eat our evening meal in the restaurant because the chef had left and there was no one to cook. We were made to feel very welcome, we shall be back back.
OK faded grandeur

Good points comfortable bedroom and good breakfast.
However on arrival :-
(1) was told evening meal no longer available as chef had left! Hotel advertised as restaurant on site
(2) decided to have a drink in the garden which was overgrown and not tended to looked very tired and uncared for
(3) garden furniture cushions covered in bird droppings and furniture very tired impossible to sit on
(4) not worthy of £100 a night cost
(5) subsequently discovered property is on the market
Sadly not the experience we expected could be much better
Would not stay again
