What People are saying

Nice, clean and pleasant. Quiet location.

Cory Jon 31/07/2017 23:45

The hotel is located at the north end of Tillamook in a fairly quiet area set back away from the highway. The rooms are good size and clean. Continental breakfast is from a menu rather than a self-serve bar. Wasn't the best. The beds are comfortable.

It's fine for a room while you are traveling.

Ok, gonna start by saying if you a fussy, overwrought internet or movie junkie, then a room with a nice clean bed probably won't be enough for you. So, complain if you want or go find a $1000 a night room.
For us, the room and bed were clean and had a coffee pot, hair dryer, plus sample goodies. Yay! We got a room to attend a conference in town, so did not use any other amenities that are available. Also, a continental breakfast used to mean coffee and a roll. Their breakfast was cooked to order menu! Wow! I had a great breakfast burrito. Hubby had eggs, sausage, hash browns. It had wi-fi. Wonderful!
If you're a decent sort, you'll leave $5 bill under each pillow for the maid that has to clean up after you.

Clean and comfortable, but needs better wifi.

I recently stayed here four four nights over a two week period while in town for a training. I was initially apprehensive from some of the reviews I read, but found it to be much better than I had expected.

Both of the two rooms I stayed in were clean and comfortable, and appeared to have been recently updated. The beds were comfortable for my taste, and had a 3 inch or so layer of memory foam on top.

The hotel breakfast was a made-to-order style from a menu of set options, rather than the buffet I'm used to, but the options were fine for what you're getting. The staff was very accommodating in preparing the items to go for me on a day I had an early start.

The pool was clean and the hot tub was warm. This was a nice feature of the hotel. I was also nice to see that they had DVD players in each room and a rental library in the lobby for guests.

Of the areas for improvement, I wish that the hotel would completely overhaul their wifi. I had difficulty connecting to several of the networks, and the ones I could connect to only provided download speeds between 0.5 and 1.5 Mbps, FAR to slow to stream anything or, at times, to use web based applications like Google Docs. In traveling for work, this was a problem for me. I ended up using the data connection on my phone one evening since I kept getting kicked off their wifi. Don't rely on the hotel for internet access if you need to work or watch a movie or something.

In summary, it was a clean and comfortable place to stay, perhaps as a place to stop along your trip. The staff is consistently friendly and polite, and were helpful in making it an overall positive experience.

Adequate place to stay

The room was clean and average size. Mattress was too soft and pillows were too overstuffed so did not sleep well and ended up waking up with a sore back and neck. Breakfast was included, and made to order and just OK. Pricey for what we got, but since there weren't many choices in town and it was too late to drive any closer to Portland, it served its purpose.

NIce place

NIce clean room. Well appointed. DVD players in each room with video library in the lobby. Free breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. They were replacing a lot of carpeting when we were there. The room was very quiet with a good bed.. Would stay again.
