A week of golfing pleasure.
Pkochon 20/10/2016 19:32We stayed here for 1 week and had room #103 in the Foresteria and it was such a pleasure, we would not mind to revisit.
The room was on the top floor, big and spacious with really good beds, a big balcony, coffee and tea ficilities.
Haidryer in the bathroom and the first we have had the experience of a minibar with 2 beers, 2 softdrinks, 2 sparkling and 2 still water free for us.
We had breakfast at the golfclub and it was perfect, we had some days where we were the only guests and yet the breakfast served was great, nothing short.
The view from the Foresteria in the morning is wonderful, 5th hole on red course.
The golf course is perfect, 27 holes where they all are in good shape.
The red, green and yellow are all nice, I persoanlly prefer red and yellow, think that green is a bit more dificult than the the two others.
And the golf here is a day greenfeee, so play as much as you like, a very good deal for golfers.
We would love to return and stay in room# 103 again.
The staff is very serviceminded and will help you as much as they can and all speak very good english.
Incredibly poor experience
Manson761on 12/09/2016 18:39I was not expecting to find such poor accommodation. We have spent 2 nights in this "hotel" and we have being accommodated in the Foresteria, a poor building, according to them a 4stars hotel, very far from the main building. We had to drive to the clubhouse to have breakfast and the Foresteria did not have a reception!!! Furniture were poor, I have found holes in the curtains, the window was not working properly.
Breakfast was not a 4 stars hotel breakfast... The golf club is in Italy and I do not expect a Cappuccino made from the automatic coffee machine.
I am rating this place poor rather than terrible just because the location is wonderful and the hotel team was nice and friendly.
I definitely do not suggest this place unless you are going for the golf...
High quality service all round
lingleseon 26/06/2016 19:18With the booking, reception, the golf and the backwards dinner we inflicted on the restaurant staff, the service was very very good. Helpful and accommodating, they were easy going about everything. This was a cut above. Of the courses, Green and Red were definitely the better ones, maybe because they were set up for a competition when were there.
Very good golf course, but Foresteria could do with a revamp
m7cejon 20/10/2014 22:18We stayed for 4 nights in the Foresteria. We really liked the golf course, and the Ca' Amata course not too far away, but were not overly impressed by the hotel. We liked the setting in the middle of the golf course, but the rooms were slightly run down. Holes in the curtains, terrible neon lights, shower with mould, cracked tiles. A thorough revamp is due!!! The breakfast (in the clubhouse) was the same every day: No choice of cereals (just very cheap cornflakes), cold eggs, processed cheese, pre-packed bread and tasteless rolls. Very disappointing! Part of our package was one dinner in the clubhouse restaurant. The dinner proved to be much better than their breakfast, and we enjoyed it. Staff is generally speaking very friendly. We would play the golf course again, but probably look for different accommodation.
Brilliant golf
Alan Ron 29/08/2014 07:14I found the staff very very helpful - the 3 9 hole courses well kept and quite a challenge to high handicappers - the second time round was a brilliant experience as I knew all the water and bunker hazards.
Would I come again - Absolutely YES
