What People are saying

Reasonable and available

Descent place. Clean friendly staff.

I was lucky to find this during July peak within a months time frame.

Reasonable for a weekend or 1-3 day stay.

I would consider this again, but far from best fishing spots.

Not bad

Not a bad experience. Didn't expect much so wasn't disappointed. Clean hotel in Soldotna with large rooms. Free breakfast in the morning was continental so don't expect more. Rooms were clean but with all of the cabinets it would have been nice to have plastic wear for takeout. Would stay here again if I had to.

Clean, Friendly and Centrally located

Stayed here during the height of King Salmon season. Centrally located to most of the restaurants in town and across from grocery store. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The standard room is your typical room with (one or two beds) and the bathroom when you walk in. Everything was clean and taken care of. Our room was on the first floor so we could not see the river but the SE side of the hotel faces the trail and tree along the river - but for the money, it was a good stay that included breakfast before we started our days.

Clean and quiet

We have stayed multiple years now. Always clean, friendly staff. The laundry room: one dryer broken...but friendly worker allowed the OTHER to be used free! Very helpful, as who wants to do wash on vacation? Breakfast is under-whelming, so hit the Moose is Loose...better to use your calories on tasty pastry!

Clean and reasonable in Soldotna, AK

This was our first stay at Aspen Soldotna. Our room had a king bed with a kitchenette including a microwave, refrigerator, sink and food preparation area. It would be a comfortable base if one wanted to stay in the Kenai/Soldotna area for a few days and eat in to keep costs down. Utensils, plates, glasses and cookware were not provided. Cabinets and drawers were in the kitchenette but they were empty. The room was clean, the bed was was comfortable, the temperature was satisfactory and the location was quite handy. We were not bothered by noise from outside the hotel. Rather we were kept up late and awakened early by a grumpy mother on one side and a snoring neighbor on the other. But that could happen in most hotel/motel lodgings. The staff were nice and checked us in and out promptly. A nice touch were the note and Andes mints provided by the housekeeping staff, welcoming us to the hotel.
