A good choice
rainbirdmuseon 29/07/2017 07:27A well situated and professional hotel. Be advised that although there are restaurants in the area, they are all national chains and you will need a car (it's in Midtown) if you want something better. Also in addition to not swapping out towels every day (which they make clear), they also do not perform any other cleaning daily,(which they are less clear about). If you like fresh cleaned sheets every day, this isn't the place for you. But other than that, it is a fine hotel to stay in and the staff was both cheerful and efficient!
Clean and comfortable
boymom79on 24/07/2017 06:14This is clean a place to stay and sleep. The room had a kitchenette, great if you're looking to save on meals. There was hot coffee and a friendly staff. It's location is perfect for heading north or south and close to many restaurants. Good place to rest your head.
On the Drive thru
Chir Con 09/07/2017 11:29It's ok for a quick rest driving thru Anchorage. Not central Anchorage but close to the freeway. if you get in late and leaving early. It doesn't have the ambition to be more either. Thankfully there is a Starbucks right next to it.
Excellent value, friendly and helpful staff
Ross Son 08/07/2017 00:57Stayed here for a week in July 2017 based on several positive reviews. The room was nice sized, with an oversized table that doubled as a desk, with chairs, benches and two arm chairs for reading. Nice.
The kitchen amenities were adequate, but no paper towels were provided, which would have been nice. The two burner cooktop took a bit of getting used to, since it was tied to a crank timer in the wall (hmmmm), but we eventually figured it out. Nice, full-sized refrigerator and freezer, but no ice trays. Ice was downstairs on the first floor. (Little things like this keep us from giving this nice hotel five stars-- Mariott properties have details like this figured out. How much do ice trays and paper towels cost? Right-- not much. But would sure have been helpful.)
Beds were GREAT and the room was quiet. And the climate controls worked well.
Very good location-- ideal. Close to the airport, close to downtown, close to restaurants. Safe part of town, lots of parking and well lit for security.
The staff were excellent. Can't say enough good things about them. They're only there from 6 am until midnight, after which a security guard takes over. No big deal.
Free wifi, which was fast and easily connected to each day.
Would definitely recommend this property to visitors to the Anchorage area. Made a very nice base of operations for us!
Great place to stay
bobal59on 20/06/2017 17:01The location was great, near the airport. Rooms were very clean and a good size. The staff was outstanding. They drove us to different restaurants for our evening meals and took us to the airport very early in the morning when we left. The also had a great breakfast and bar area. A great place to stay while in Anchorage..
