My Wife Loved It
Mansfield Ton 13/08/2017 01:30My wife Sandre is pretty picky when it comes to accommodations but she loved the Aspen Suites. She had had problems in the past with the chlorine they use in their pools but Aspen Suites doesn't have a pool at all, which was helpful. If they did we didn't see it, but I guess we weren't really looking for it either. Would definitely recommend to any fellow traveler who has also shared this problem.
The Weekend in Juneau
Daniel Kon 09/08/2017 16:57Well like most trips for me going to Juneau, it started off with the ferry running a little bit behind schedule, but I remembered that I let the hotel know that I was coming in on the late ferry that evening. Once I got to the hotel I was happy that I was able to get check right, so that gave me enough time to run and get something to eat before everything shut down for the evening ( I brought my own car, they don't have any type of shuttle service ). It was probably the hottest weekend of the summer while we stayed here and we took Full Advantage of the AC during our stay. The room was comfortable and was nice having a full fridge during our stay, but I was utterly shocked when looking for some movie channels on the TV...they didn't have any. This is a great hotel pretty much, just missing a shuttle service and movie channels in my opinion.

Pizza delivery from Bullwinkles nearby was the icing on the cake. :-)
Commercial district = funky location for tourists without cars
Katharine Don 03/08/2017 20:45The room was lovely. The people upstairs walked heavily. The staff was very friendly & nice. We didn't have a car = required taxis.... Also not terribly easy to get to the (nearby) airport by walking, and no shuttle service...

Andres Hon 28/07/2017 03:33The suites are very comfortable, clean, quiet. Coffee, microwave, a refrigerator and a stove. Good air conditioning temperature, silently warm. Four nights, 15 minutes from downtown, 3 minutes from airport. Mendel hall park is also 10 minutes. With car, taxi or uber is a very good choice.
