Brussels
ShloMomoon 05/07/2017 09:48Stayed again in this lovely club and hotel. Location is close enough to the airport. Rooms are great clean and modern. The club and pool are gorgeous. Food is excellent. Recommended as great place to stay while you have to be close to the airport.
Recommended in Brussels with some caveats
esthero1on 17/05/2017 23:553 1/2 stars for this spa hotel in a pleasant suburb of Brussels. The positives: nicely decorated rooms, good size shower room, storage space, safe and fridge in room, internet included in rate. Friendly and helpful reception. As mentioned this is a popular health club and spa so having access to the classes etc. is a plus. But there were some negatives too: internet needs to be reentered every time you leave the hotel, and overnight; the TV channel choice is very limited; the shower water did not heat properly,. These were niggles that made my stay less than "very good".
Green oasis in centre of Brussels
Adventurousoldieon 18/04/2017 12:43Great for sporty types but not suitable for disabled people as cobbled approach and lots of odd steps. No ventilator in WC. Water hot and lots of toiletries. Bedside lighting not bright enough to read by. Food lovely though and staff very helpful.
great sport facility
D Aon 26/03/2017 14:34While entering the main entrance where loads of people pass the entrance gates using their member cards might confuse you because you firstly ask yourself if you are at the right place as it doesn't look at all as if you were in your hotel.
You discover that this sports club has a hotel wing with some lovely country style rooms, upper middle class, not very spacey but ideal if you want to just pass a night in Brussels and attending the gym & Spa as a nice evening event. Ideal if you are too stressed to go in the city center of if you want to relax after a tough business day.
That one has to pass those entrance gates to go in and out of the building is a bit annoying. As well the fact that if you want to use their parking, there are no spots reserved for hotel guests, so it means you have to queue with all club members in order to hopefully get a space by a leaving guest (your chance is increased if a sports class just ended).
The gym is high-end and nearly futuristic and it tries hard to be as high-society-like as possible. So if you look for a warm club-atmosphere, you won't find that here.
Absolutely amazing gym equipment, a great choice of sport classes (all genres, from indoor cycling over yoga-pilates to Badminton).
The swimming pools are nice, but the bubble bath was out of order.
The wellness is perfect to relax after having trained in the gym, but if you want to use it as main element of a wellness-weekend, you better go to a more appropriate place.
So: perfect place for sporty people wanting to use wellness facilities and/or attending some classes.
A positive discovery! I'll go back there for my next stay in Brussels!
Enjoyable Stay
BuckyandChrison 20/10/2016 14:07Although this is a very popular health club and spa, it has a limited number of hotel rooms. We spent three nights in a very comfortable room. The indoor/outdoor seating for meals was confortable and the food was very good. Stores, shopping mall and restaurants are within comfortable walking distance. The employees' ready assistance and quick smiles added to a very nice experience.
