Just outside the A73 for lunch
Rinus Won 16/07/2017 21:45Having appetite you can choose to go off the A73 and visit the restaurant of this hotel. Easy to park, fast serving and delicious food for nice prices. You can have your meal inside or outside. The choice is good and quality fine.
Pleasant hotel

I think the most correct is to say its a normal hotel where you get a reasonable value for your money. Dont have anything bad to say about it so if you are looking for a hotel in this region this is a good option.

Lovely clean room with air con. Food was exceptional. The staff are very friendly. Dinner at the Restaurant was fantastic and breakfast was top quality. Bed was comfortable and the sauna in our room was a bonus.
A nice hotel but lots of things that niggle!
Jessica Won 05/05/2017 16:57I have been staying here regularly over a period of several weeks through work; I stayed in a variety of rooms and ate in the restaurant on numerous of occasions so have gained a good understanding on what is good and bad in this hotel:
Pros:
The rooms are a good size and the beds are comfortable.
Most rooms have wifi (I had one where the reception was poor).
The decor in the restaurant is lovely and on the whole the food is very good, if a little expensive
The taster menu in the restaurant is worth trying and good value at €28.50
Staff are mostly friendly and polite
Cons:
The rooms seem tired with light bulbs often blown, damage to the doors and missing sink plugs. One room also had shelves missing in the wardrobe.
The televisions are old and the BBC channel has audio commentary permanently switched on, Often the remote controls would not work properly.
The rooms had no tea or coffee making facilities and it would be nice if bottles of water were also available in the rooms, rather than just from a vending machine in the lobby.
Some of the restaurant staff gave very poor service, forgetting orders, not taking a drinks order when you arrive or asking if you wanted dessert/coffee your main course. on one occasion I was not asked how I wanted my steak cooked, I had to call the waiter back to make sure he include this. One young waiter seemed to be consistently poor.
Breakfast was quite good, but often the staff did not keep food restocked when it ran out, or clean plates available. On several occasions there were several tables that had not been cleared for sometime.
In summary, it is a good hotel with potential but they really need to improve the room quality and the service in the restaurant.
Reasonable hotel

- Poor light in the rooms, hardly any light close to the door
- Bathroomdoor needed maintenance
Quick and very practical reception service.
Restaurant, good food, asperges are well appreciated by foreign collegues.
Service slow. They forgot to bring a bottle of wine.
No eggs at breakfast.
