Nice hotel in central location but not the nicest part of town

Stayed here for one night in August 2017 with family. 10 minute walk to Marienplatz but it was not a nice very part of town. However once you walked away from schillerstrasse it was fine. Car park is in a court yard at the rear of the hotel. Do not park on the street outside! Hotel was very clean and staff very helpful. Rooms were adequate for a one night stop off. Loved Munich!

The hotel is near the central station and close to munich main attraction (Rathaus). The hotel is clean, staff is helpful but in my opinion it is not a 4 star as they presume. Room has air cond. which is a plus since most places in Bavaria do not.
My single room was small but very clean, bathroom good in size and shower like most in Europe very impractical. Pillow was horrible but I guess that could be anywhere. Elevator does not get to the 6th floor so if you end up at this level you will have to take your luggage thru the stairway from the 5th.
Breakfast is very good and almost a bargain for the 11 Euros they charge. I do recommend you get it.
The hotel is located in a street / zone full of immigrant venues. There is plenty of movement during the day locals, turists and some people just wondering around. There is a DB atm nearby which is busy. I withdrew some money and felt safe walking back to the hotel.
However, at night there is not much movement but still some people wondering around plus the cabarets open so not nice if you travel with family. I came back to the hotel at 9pm and still felt safe but I recommend you do some research if you want to go out and check the nightlife while staying in this zone. I didn't have to go out after 9pm but I would have thought about it twice if I had to. I stayed here because it was the cheapest option in the area, close to the train station and my business was mainly during the day.

Clean, near the station, friendly staff

The hotel is located very near the station. This is good for the short stop but less nice on a longer stay. Lively streets and a bit of a distance to highlights of the city. Staff is very friendly and service minded. The room was spacious, air conditioned (although somewhat noisy fan) and the beds perfectly ok.

The hotel is just 200 away from the main station, so you can go there on foot even with heavy suitcases. The road like all the streets around the main city center stations is full of immigrants and casinos. The hotel is old but some renovation has been done in the rooms. Our room (205) was just opposite the breakfast room and had a window facing the road, which originally frightened us for the noise. But by closing the window you did not hear anything. The room was large enough, much larger than the rooms of other hotels for professionals, for example. H2, clean, bathroom small but functional, changing towels and cleaning everyday. Essential that this had aircondition adjustable from the room. The courteous staff gave us the room straight away although we arrived early before 9am. We did not get breakfast because we are on a diet and on the other hand there are infinite choices from the outside. Please note that there is an empty fridge in the room where you can put everything you want. There is a coffee machine and a water cooler at the reception. Generally, for those who go out in the morning to explore the city and return only to sleep, this hotel is a good and inexpensive choice.

its more like a 3 star hotel than 4 star! bed was comfy and clean, good bathroom, very kind and friendly receptionist (Fatih). But room definitely needed a maintenance,carpet was old and looked dirty (I avoided stepping on carpet with bare foot!), breakfast looked okey but didnt taste good!
