Hotel got stuck in the 60s
Zvonko1977on 21/01/2017 22:21We booked last minute for a weekend with wife and kids in Leukerbad. This was the hotel with the 2nd best price for a 4 bed family room. The hotel is manageable for 1 or 2 nights but it really needs overall renovation. All the furniture are old, everything is old and depressing. Will definitely not book it again...

CaptainTinyKittyon 24/03/2016 11:01Good hotel, good breakfast, spectacular mountain view...just a bit old stylish. I would say it is a great place for family with children and grandparents, the young people may feel it a bit odd... It is very close to the bus station and the thermal baths.

bachlippon 14/12/2015 10:26We felt very welcome in this family run hotel in central Leukerbad, VS, Switzerland. The whole staff turned out to be very friendly. Our double room was very spacious - we could even have prepared our own cooked meals there if we wanted. The hotel is located between the Leukerbad Therme and the Walliser Alpentherme & Spa. The central bus station is also within walking distance, even with luggage. The ropeway to the Torrent ski resort is close by as is the center of the village with its restaurants and shops. I would like to recommend this great hotel with its great staff.
Great friendly family run hotel
Catherine Bon 20/09/2015 10:30The hotel Astoria is a very friendly family run hotel in Leukerbad. The rooms are very spacious and we were upgraded to an upper level room with amazing mountain views. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and there was a kitchenette provided. The hotel is situated near the centre of the town and near the thermal centres. There is undercover parking available for a small fee. I would highly recommend staying at Hotel Astoria.

whiskeyladon 28/08/2015 21:27The Hotel Astoria is a terrific value in Leukerbad. Not fancy, but very clean and comfortable, with a very short walk to the spas and the shops. Stayed two nights and and got a great nights sleep both nights. The woman at the front desk was very friendly and spoke excellent English. The view from the balcony of my room was nothing short of spectacular (photo attached). Great stay for the money.
