What People are saying

Not bad

deejay6669on 23/07/2017 10:04

we stayed here for 2 nights primarily to visit Cape Reinga. We found the hotel comfortable and convenient to local amenities.
The hosts were informative and helpful. Overall we were pleased with our stay and didn't have any real issues over the couple of nights we were there.

Pleasant enough but not wow

Clean and tidy, could do with a little work but the folk in the office are very pleasant, welcoming and try their hardest to make your stay a good one. They serve breakfast too and always seem to be on time.

More than adequate

Owners were very welcoming and also very helpful in booking a tour at short notice. The rooms were fine and everything that was needed was there. Quiet. It's not the most modern complex but has everything and its clean. The staff went out of their way to be friendly and interested. Tariff is reasonable.

Welcoming and clean

Thanks for a choice little place to stay while we were on the road. Internet worked well, the room was clean and inviting and hosts lovely. Very glad to find the hairdryer in the bathroom and a fully stocked tea caddy.

Delightful time warp to the 80's

We stayed here for one night as a stop over. Our host Raewyn was very friendly and helpful and booked our tour to the Cape for us. First impression is that it is a bit dated and we felt that we were back in the 80's. However the room was spacious, had full cooking facilities and was very clean, including the bathroom and bedding. Raewyn advised us of poor internet which wasn't an issue for us. Furthermore we were able to leave our car parked safely on the premises while we did our bus tour to the Cape. We have no complaints and eventhough we have stayed at more modern motels we really appreciated the throw back to the 80's.
