Pros
1. Food is excellent. Tastes better than many good restaurants
2. We all guys stayed in a tent and it was fine. Maintained to a decent level. So no problem here
3. Staff is very friendly
4. No one disturbs you, especially in a tent. Families usually stay in the rooms near garden. Boys should take tents. Complete freedom. Play music, drink, enjoy
5. If you are boys only, go ahead and book a tent. You wont regret.
6. Pool is good

Cons
1. The DJ area is bad. Speakers are really bad and volume is uncontrolled and hurts your ears
2. Resort is pretty decent- not luxury as such, but good.
3. Archery and all were broken- so that has to be taken care by hotel staff
4. caroms were damaged. Almost all

Overall its a very good place to go. Boys or families both. Safe secure and good

Located near Nere village, Panvel the Atasa Resort was one of the best outings my parents and I had in a long time. Usually when we visit a resort, we think of an artificial theme, average food and relaxation for some time. Atasa is very different from any other resort in the vicinity of Mumbai and now I will tell you what makes me say this. The major USPs why we felt this experience was, the brilliant customer service, palatable food and a panoramic view along with a countryside feel. The resort has a beautiful natural landscape, which is difficult to find in the outskirts of Mumbai wherein a river flows along with hills in the background. During the monsoons, you can see the mist passing through the hills and feel the winds while hearing the fast flowing river water. The food here is both good quality as well as quantity. You will rarely hear this about any resort that people are content with its food, Atasa ensures to make way to your heart through your stomach. And finally, the customer experience. The resort is managed by a Mr. PK Mishra (popularly called Mishraji) who is a tremendous person. Recall that I visited the place with my parents. They're senior citizens), and we were looking for a peaceful time away from the Mumbai congestion. Throughout our time in Atasa, Mishraji ensured that there was no discomfort to us. All the above mentioned points left a long lasting impression on us. If you ever want to move away from the chaos of the city not too far, do try this place. It also has a swimming pool and adventure games that will keep you going. Apart from all this Bhai's (Salman Khan) farmhouse is few minutes away from the place. Hope you too have a good time :)

An average place close to Navi Mumbai

Recently I stayed at the place for a break from work as the place is situated nearby to Mumbai and Navi Mumbai. The place is well spread in lush green surroundings. When it comes to room, service and food, Its just an average place to enjoy with family and friends.

Had visited atasa resort on 21st May for a office trip. Good place for a weekend time. Food served was too good. Pool is clean resort has other activities too. Rooms are clean. There are tents also. Peace of mind. Resort has space for bike n car parking. However if u come here by a bus u have to walk for at least 15 mins.

Bad Rooms, Average Facilities, Average Food, Average Service

We had been there on weekend for one nite with family and friends.
Cons
Rooms have cockroaches and old type.
AC working ( not upto mark),
Cleanliness is also ok
River near Resort was dry so not very good view from Resort, may be after monsoon it may be beautiful

Pros
Rooms are big, Upto 6 people can sleep in one room.
Adventure activities are good
Huge lawn where u can play cricket or football or any games.At nite u can have good open air party
Swimming pool is good but small compared to size of Resort.
Food is bit spicy and tasty( less variety)
U can take Ur own liquor

Overall average place, main plus point is open garden, peaceful place , u can take Ur liquor, adventure activities but unmaintained rooms.
Not recommended for summer visit, Post monsoon recommended but make adjustment for rooms and don't even try tents.
