Ronniedukeon 10/05/2017 21:39This is the third time we have stayed at this Hotel and I would highly recommend it , The staff at the Hotel were all very friendly and helpful and always made themselves available to chat to you from the cleaner up to the manager. The rooms we had were as requested and were spacious clean and had all the extra facilities you could ask for during our stay.
The food was also very good and decent sized portions and the restaurant was always busy which speaks volumes.
There are plenty parking spaces at the rear of the Hotel and free wifi throughout the Hotel.
all in all when back visiting Aberdeen again in the future we will be staying here again
One night just wasn't enough!!
bigmacShetlandon 01/05/2017 23:02Stayed at the Atholl last week when attending a conference. Everything was perfect, and the attention to detail was incredible. We had a private dining room for our group, and the food and service were excellent. Bedroom very well appointed, extremely clean and fresh. Very friendly staff, both at reception and when dining.
An Aberdonian Welcome!
XmasLornaon 01/05/2017 15:29My husband spent several days in a nearby hospital following surgery. I stayed on my own at the Atholl but was made to feel very welcome and comfortable given the 'couple world' that we live in. Service was subtle and 'no fuss', which is how I like it. Despite having to extend my stay on a daily basis based on my husband's progress, staff were very understanding. The hospital made a sudden decision to discharge him one afternoon, and although I had booked for that night, I was not charged even though I was not vacating the room till approx. 4pm. Instead of the conveyer belt service and phrases that you usually encounter at hotel chains, I received a personalised service that reflected the character of Aberdeen. They made a difficult time much easier, for which I am very grateful.

The food was lovely and with great choice .
The decor is slightly dated but much nicer than a hotel chain.

dajascoton 22/04/2017 14:35A well known hotel and restaurant close to city centre and hospital in Aberdeen. A colleague was retiring and we chose the Atholl as it provided good range of food and catering for a variety of specific dietary requirements. Colleague contacted the hotel ahead of the event and they catered for her needs.
To be honest its fine good portion sizes but not particularly good value for money. I would return but there are many other places.
