..Ati-atihan hotel..
Rhom'z Aon 21/06/2017 04:25Staying in kalibo with relaxing and friendly staff was offered by this hotel. The problem that we encounter is no room service after breakfast that make me ordered from fast food in the other store that charged you delivery fees.. but in mu duration of stay was okay walking distance from mall and public market.
Terrible
Amdreon 25/02/2017 22:31We came just to stay for a couple of hours and checked out to go to the airport. But our flight was 4 hours late and we came back to the hostel just 10 min after checking out. Any hostel would take us back, but this one - terrible, by the way - charged us the full rate. They wouldn't let us stay even at the lobby...
The bathroom is the worst I have ever seen in my life.
It's expensive for what it offers you.
Overnight stay
Joseph Aldric Gon 28/12/2016 08:33Stayed overnight in this hostel en route to Boracay with family. Called to book a day earlier and we're checked in in due time. Our room on the 3rd floor is respectably arranged, with noticeably thick & sturdy tile floorings from the bedroom to the rest room. The staff were courteous and polite. We were given discount because of a relative. It was of course a welcome surprise! Thank you. The place could become just too noisy, probably its holiday season when we got there. A local carnival at the back part of the hotel run loudspeakers on hearing distance from our floor. Hostel is conveniently located near the market and the new City Mall.
Toured Kalibo shortly, went for early lunch at RML chicken house but missed their grilled best seller: chicken tail (iwi). Went around the city that has grown and became busier through the years. Visited the old church. We were surprised to find New Washington a thirty minutes ride providing vast view of the sea, gleaned from a long stretch of a walkable sea wall. Newly installed sea food restos lined the area, lots of them! Sampaquita Resorts is found nearby but their closed gate tells us they wouldn't allow a drive through,to look see the place. Had dinner in a place called Burgos Resto with cleaned array of seafood to be cooked the way you liked them. Kind of pricey but we needed a tasty safe place for dinner and luckily we found one in this area. Too bad we arrived nearly sundown but promised to to return, perhaps in the next Ati-ati festival in January. Would want to watch old junk ships of Dumagit wharf plying nearby Bataan Aklan, home town of relatives where tastiest talaba could be had. Many think it's because of their unique habitat in environs between brandish waters and sea water.
Horrible
on 25/08/2016 01:51Pls people dont believe all those good comments abt this hotel. My personal experience at this establishment is the worst i cld ever get in my entire life. As far as i know, i am a very kind person, but the staff at the reception named leah toribio get into my nerves. I made a kind request to pls get a solution to the noise at the rm105 i am accomodating, bec the noise at the.ceiling is unbearable, footsteps of heavy feet is killing my ears, when i am tired fr boracay. I badly need a rest for my early flight the ff day. This heavily.pregnant lady leah toribio answered me that it is bec i am only in a standard rm. What? So u people want me to pay bulks of money on ur face, so i cld get a comfortable 1 night accomodation. U drive me nuts. Ur remark is an insult and u dont deserve in ur seat! Ur svc sucks!
nice
ManilaLpdon 18/08/2016 15:06the place is nice for a short visit. clean sheets. Basics provided, clean toilets. Nothing lux. But basic and clean. I recommend this when you need to travel midway to Boracay. We booked here because our flight was arriving really late. It was a pretty good choice except that it was far from the airport.
