Nice Cozy Hotel Near the Airport

The airport is very close to the airport and the sky train is an advantage. However, it is a pretty basic hotel so don't expect a lot of luxury setting. The rooms are clean and cozy and the staff is ok too. There is a bar in the lobby which is lively at nights.

Good hotel, not easy to get to

We stayed at this hotel having arrived on an International flight. The first issue was trying to get to the hotel as from the International Terminal you have to take the free shuttle back to the Domestic Terminal, which takes about 20 minutes, and then pick up the hotel shuttle to the hotel. We decided to take a taxi which cost $20. The hotel is new and we were welcomed warmly. Rooms are comfortable and clean and the Club Lounge facilities are good. It was a much easier journey the following morning as we just took the transit straight to the domestic terminal which is just a 2 minutes from the entrance of the hotel.
If I was arriving or departing from the Domestic Terminal I would definitely stay here again.

Great choice for airport hotel

This newly renovated Marriott is a great choice for airport travelers. Despite its close proximity to the airport, our stay was quiet and peaceful. The hotel has been updated and the rooms feature wooden floors, trendy furniture and upscale bathrooms. I will say the double beds are extremely small and low to the ground since they are on platforms. I will request a king size bed if I return.

We used their onsite parking and found it to be cheaper than the offsite airport parking we've used in the past. The hotel shuttle had us at the airport in less than 10 minutes and pickup was just as fast. The hotel grounds are lush and well maintained. The staff was very accommodating. There is a Starbucks, hotel restaurant and a nice business center in the lobby area.

Will definitely return!

Clean, super high end for an airport prop

I was diverted to this hotel due to delta flight cancel, my expectations were low, but was pleasantly surprised when I arrived. First of all many flights were canceled so there was a line out the door to check in at 11 at night. The group of young men handling the desk the night of Aug 4 were true pros. It was passed 11pm, I'm sure it was passed their shift, but they made me feel welcomed, my room was immaculate. Had a quick burger it was great had a few beers...all and all very satisfied.. if you are ever stuck at this huge Atlanta airport book here, you have many choices but book here, this room was worth way over 200.00 but you could book for 179. I would recommend highly..l plus no need to get on dirty shuttle, jump on the second story tram one stop and ur home

Very Nice Gateway Hotel

We missed our connecting flight and had to overnight in Atlanta. This hotel was very convenient and easy to access. We got a good welcome and had a good night sleep. we had breakfast with decent view of the airfield.
