Loved our stay at this Bed and Breakfast!

Wow! Loved this bed and breakfast! The owners are so nice and helpful with suggestions! We took a road trip of the Northeast for our honeymoon and stayed here in the Wedding theme room which was super cute! Rooms were clean and breakfast was great! She made home made biscuits with blueberry honey! Was delicious! Would definitely recommend!

Great get away in OOB

A wonderful stay there under new ownership! Nancy and Steve were so friendly and welcoming. It is evident that they take great pride in their new endeavor together. The place is nicely kept, has lovely porches and lawn space as well as a great swimming pool. Breakfast was the right amount of variety to get you out the door to start your day. We stayed in a two room suite with our two children. We would have preferred 2 beds but were able to mange just as well with the queen bed and futon. We were grateful to have AC in the room as well which did a great job of cooling off both areas. We certainly would recommend it to others and already have!

Boston-Bar Harbor

We chose Old Orchard Beach as an overnight stop between Boston and Bar Harbor. This B&B was very nice, very comfortable, very clean and the new owners were great. Good suggestions for our dinner recommendation to the Landmark Restaurant which was fantastic. A bit surprised that the B&B only served a continental breakfast, however it was adequate. Met some great people who were also guests - just a nice place in general to stay. This B&B is located in Old Orchard Beach, and nothing to do with owners, but be prepared to pay to park everywhere in downtown area, even in restaurant parking lots. Crazy!!

wonderful trip

We had such a wonderful time. Nancy and her family are fairly new owners and they are just so wonderful and welcoming. Our room was adorable and comfortable. The rates were very reasonable. Nancy was always available with recommendations and advice on places to go and visit. The property is well kept up with great areas to just sit outside and enjoy the weather. Close walk to the beach and pier was a bonus. And her special freshly baked treats each morning were wonderful. would recommend this place to everyone who wants to visit this area. Half way between Portland and Kennebunkport making is so easy to go visit almost anywhere for the day.

Nice. Paranormal?

The place is under relatively new ownership - since March. For 'just getting started', it is a nice little B&B with friendly service. Just a continental breakfast so far, tho the owner said they are working on the kitchen upgrades necessary for the full breakfast license. We stayed in the Cleaves room. Clean. Well supplied. AC. A full bed, so smaller than the Queen we are used to, but OK. Mattress a bit harder than we like, but still slept good. The dormer roof-line makes the ceiling a bit low in areas, nothing we couldn't handle. It was problematic in the bathroom - with the dormer ceiling there was no way for two people to share the bathroom mirror while getting ready in the morning. Mild inconvenience. Most interesting thing..... the unseen visitor. Our first of 2 nights we had just got settled in bed and were reading / checking email when **rattle thud thud**. We froze, looked at each other and wondered what that was. My partner got the flashlight out and started looking around. We found a seashell under the chair. Not sure where it had been before, but when she test-flicked it off the side table at the wall the **rattle thud thud** was exactly what we'd just heard. We put the shell back on the table, said "Hello" to _____, and let them know we were guests who would just be there 2 nights and hoped they didn't mind us. Nothing else occurred - and we have NEVER has an experience like this before. Pretty cool.
