Fantastic Holiday

Loved this apartment, the position of it was 100% for us, couldn't of been without the air con or washing machine. To be fair we didn't spend that much time in the actual apartment, we were mostly out and around the pool, the location was ideal, shops supermarket and bars/restaurants very close by but a 10-15 min walk and the centre was there with everything! The only negative thing I would say about Atlantic Gardens, was the pool bar, it was always time consuming to get a food / drink during the day and they stopped serving food way before tea time, but apart from that, brilliant! You can take a 2 min walk to another bar or restaurant literally just behind the apartments in 'The Square'. The lifeguard there was brilliant too and really friendly! A bonus was to keep our room on until the last minute too as no one was coming into the same day!
We would defiantly rent this apartment from John again, if he's happy to have us! 😀

didnt get off to good start!

we went to Atlantic gardens as a family of 8 a the beginning of August for 11 nights
we didn't get off to a great start, reception told us there were some technical issues with our rooms, we had booked 3 apartments and asked for them to be close together.
for the first night we had been given apartments that were supposed to be of a higher grade than we were due to have, and we weren't all together.
this ment we were unable to pack has we would have to move to the next apartments the following day , but had to be out of the rooms by 10am and our new rooms would not be ready till later that day, so had to put our cases back into reception for the time in between, this ment we were unable to unpack the night before, which ruined our first night there, stopping us wanting to get ready to go out. and then delayed us the next day as we couldn't settle in to our rooms until later so spoilt the day, we had more or less missed the first day and half of the holiday waiting around, we tried to speak to a manager to solve the situation, but he was off for the weekend , leaving the reception to sort out the situation herself.
when we got our new rooms to be honest they were better than the first rooms we were given, there was somewhere to store all your belongings and clothes, as the new improved rooms had no storage space, they had given us rooms with poolside views and we were closer together, they also gave all our rooms a free safe for the time we were there , so they did try to compensate for the disruption caused.
The overall surroundings of the complex were lovely, 3 great pool areas, always clean and tidy, lush green grass and beautiful trees, we even had bananas growing on the tree by our room. the complex is close to all shopping, restaurant's and bars and not far from the beach, we would visit again. not forgetting Nico the lifeguard well he was a character, very welcoming, he spent time getting to know all the holiday makers, and you could have a good laugh at him and with him. Quite the entertainer, and the kids loved him.

Just home after spending 2wks here. The staff were very helpful and friendly, the lifeguard was fantastic with the kids and the whole complex was spotless! The only downside was the beds which were very uncomfortable and no air conditioning (you can hire fans at a price) hence the deduction in rating. Overall though it's a good place to stay in a great location, I would stay again!

Disgusting Accommodation

The room was filthy, had not been cleaned. Long black hairs on all floors, paint peeling off walls and doors. Fridge was the same not cleaned, not defrosted. Water coming through bathroom ceiling, beds squeaked every time you turned over. Complained to reception and was told that they had no more rooms as they were fully booked!!
Our terrace looked out onto the hotels rubbish tip!!

We had a great time staying at the Atlantic Garden resort.
The staff were all really friendly and the whole place was kept really clean and tidy.I had stayed there previously about 8 yes ago and was pleased that it hadn't changed too much.
The location is great,very quiet around the resort but you are easily walking distance to great restaurants and facilities.
All in all had a really great stay.
