Scandinavian style
Jorgoson 04/08/2017 22:24In my opinion this was really nice hotel with scandinavian twist. Food from the restaurant was good and the price was good.
Only negative thing to mention is that in our room the ventilation was not working as intended. We had to keep our window open to get some fresh air. During the sunrise some nasty and really loud bird came to yell under our window and woke us all. There was no air conditioning in our room.
Hotel's sauna was weird... It was hot like hell (about 90 degrees celsius). The sauna stove was at under the sauna benches. How you are supposed to throw any water into it? There was no privacy for men or female. Any hotel guest can enter the premises even when you are in the shower.
We stayed couple of nights. We complained about ventilation, but did not get any compensation. They were just sorry for that.
I would go again, but I would check that ventilation really works.
Nice hotel
Vasilis Ton 23/05/2017 15:34I stayed for three nights in a big and comfortable room. The breakfast is excellent with a lot of variety and you can have a sit outside with nice view. Nice and clean hotel with a great view of the horse racing court and the golf. The bus station is out of the hotel and need about 25mins to Bremen city center. There is also a big supermarket across the road of the hotel.
Its ok, but not super
Raffie Con 07/05/2017 18:59Nice big room, free parking, clean hotel, good breakfast. But the lady at check-inn was not very friendly, maybe a bad day. At 24:00 they started to unload a big van, just in front of the entry under my room, took about 40 minutes, i think it was the catering (05-05-17). Then at 03:00 in the night 6 people were checkin inn, and again a lot of noise, in front of the entry, right under my room, screaming, shouting, drinking beer and start trowing up on the parking. The person at the reception have seen the people, but no reaction.
So a very nice hotel, nice breakfast, but they have to think a little about the noise and the staff, a little more friendly and some more paying attention whats happening on the parking at 03:00 in the night.
FRIENDLY STAFF, GOOD QUALITY FOOD
Ralf Son 03/05/2017 19:59This is a place for good food with regard to quality and taste! The staff in reception and restaurant is friendly and has humor. In the restaurant you have a good view on the turf and the driving range of the Golf Club. If you have a direct view from your Hotel room to the turf then you are lucky if your there during the horse race season. Our only topic of complaints: The maids are not very sensitive regarding privacy.
nice spacious hotel - not necessarily four-star
kmp187309on 25/04/2017 15:22nice location overlooking the golf course,plain, spacious building, lots of parklig space and bus stop around the corner. spacious rooms, comfortable bed, enough space to work, spectacular breakfast room with lots of choice, only coffee was disappointing.
i wonder where the four stars come from: no bathrobe, no slippers (despite of sauna on the premises) no safe, two small towels.
