Excellent Hotel, Business or Pleasure
Steve5839on 08/07/2017 13:07Stopped here not by choice, but placed by a company I was working for, I am normally sceptical about 3 star hotels, however this hotel was excellent on all levels.
The staff all spoke acceptable English, but if they do or they don't, that does not bother me as long as they are willing to help and these guys wanted to on all levels.
The entrance is big and roomy, but it does not have the weight of a old fashioned hotel, but the feeling is light and airy. Check in was swift and getting up to the room was easy and again a nice surprise with the room, light and airy with reasonably good wifi.
My view out of the window over the car park was not the best, but you get what you pay for.
My colleague and I had dinner in the restaurant and again the quality of the food was excellent, far in excess of the normal quality offerings from hotel restaurants. The breakfast has a wide choice of items and great coffee.
The bar and service was again excellent with very pleasant surroundings.
So what is my little gripes to give this a 4 in lieu of a 5, a little more attention when someone is stood at the bar, walk in showers in lieu of baths and a tidy up of the greenery outside, yes all picky I know, but attention to detail and all that.
So all in all a great stop over hotel and when I go back, I will certainly be stopping there again and eating in the hotel.
Simple and clean
CYTTon 08/05/2017 05:18Convenient business hotel next to the University. Best thing is the vicinity to a large park that makes it perfect for a morning run. Staff was flexible and friendly (early check-in and late check-out). Only (major) let-down was, that it was not impossible to get lunch as the whole restaurant was occupied by a big group and the kitchen claimed to be unable to prepare a dish a la card...
Great hotel, but the internet..

But internet is really so popr. Hotel must improve the internet service as soon as possible...
We were not satisfied
vickyp1on 06/04/2017 22:36It was not a very good experience for us, a beautiful location but the rest left a lot to be desired...the room had a lot of deficiencies, there were no drinks in the fridge and the staff should be more polite and attentive to guests needs...
Comfortable hotel
dj171950on 04/12/2016 17:59Good room setup, quiet (I was at the end of the corridor, 4th floor), big picture window oriented toward the east. Big bottle of water, free. Great wifi. Good shower -- tho the room was set up for a wheelchaired person, so might be different from other rooms. Then again, someone in a wheelchair would not have been able to hang clothes up in either closet, or get them down. The bed was a bit softer than I would have liked, but otherwise, it worked well, with a work table and adequate lighting.
The hotel is a bit of a walk from the tram station, and it was not at all clear to me how to find it. As it is near the end of the line and at some distance from the city center, I had dinner in the restaurant downstairs, which was fine.
