What People are saying

All inclusive family resort style hotel. Designed around young kids and families.

The Atlantica Marmari Beach Hotel is a All inclusive family resort style hotel, designed around young kids and families.
If you want a quiet adults only resort - then this really isn't for you.
However, if you want a family friendly resort where you can indulge in gluttony of free as much as you can eat food and non-branded drinks - then this is probably for you.
The hotel certainly knows how to canter to kids tastes, both in food, activities (most of which are free), swimming pools and evening activities. The high-ropes activity (which was also free) was enjoyed by both myself and the kids.
Only downside to the activities was that they needed to be pre-booked 24 hours in advance - so planning was needed and they weren't always available - such as one of the coach tours.
The staff were very friendly and helpful at all times and easy to find.
It was our first 'All Inclusive kids hotel' we had visited, and the kids certainly enjoyed themselves, especially playing with their extended family who were also on holiday there for the week.
Whilst it wasn't our cup of tea, I feel that the hotel lived up to is billing as a family friendly resort hotel. It was as described on the website.

i was in this hotel for one week with my family...all the servises is 5 star..and very frienly
to us without any problems...special good are the housekeeping staffs...and the pool bars....the food was great...with many choises...in the night we enjoy main bar with very good bartenders lina and nikos at main bar
Sometimes we were too late to give us our drink because one short man in a bar..always flirt with girls and also one night we come at 23:58 to bar and this short man says us that we must give him tips, because the main bar is already closed
Finally our holidays was great..

Brilliant Family Holiday

Just back from a week here - myself, wife and 6 year old daughter.

Quite simply we had a brilliant time, 7 days wasn't enough.

The complex is spread over a big area - with the effect that no one area feels over crowded or over busy. There are 3 main pools. The one by the restaurant is excellent - quiet and relaxing, never once got busy. Brilliant 4 poster style covered sunbathing areas around the pool too. The main pool has the slides and swim up bar. Despite being the busiest, still never felt overcrowded. Events are hosted here throughout the day, water polo, aerobics etc. All join in if you want. The third pool is somewhat hidden away 'across the road'. We liked this pool the best. All pools are good depth too for kids, with none being deeper than 1.7m I think ( ie tip toes for a 6ft tall person!). Never had a problem finding a sunbed at any point during the day either.

There are three restaurants. The main one, the Grill by the side of the main pool, and the Taverna on the beach. All are open for lunch, the Grill and Taverna offering a smaller range, but nice and we preferred these for lunch.

The food was good. I wouldn't say it's fantastic, but for all inclusive standards, it was a good, varied range of food, with plenty of healthy options if you are watching what you consume!. The Taverna was a great night - make use of the one free night you get there, book upon arrival. The Grill is only open once a week in the evening (I think). The waiting staff were brilliant (special mention to Dorti in the main restaurant, lovely chap!).

The real selling point of this hotel however is the entertainment team and the entertainment that they provide, not just for children. They are nothing short of brilliant. They genuinely seem to love what they do. The evening entertainment starts at about 7pm for little ones on the main theatre, moving on at 8pm to a fraction older children. Then at 9pm the 'main show' geared at adults and children. They are brilliant. Our daughter loved every minute of what was on offer, especially the 'Download' part of the evening at 8pm. During the day they are always on the go - different activities around the complex. Nothing was pushed upon you, all very much if you want to join in, do so etc.

One comment to be made, but far from anything negative, is that this is a predominantly Scandinavian/German hotel. There aren't a huge number of English here. Now if we knew that before booking it may have put us off (thinking of daughter etc) however it actually turned out to be a positive! We quite liked the fact there were fewer English. All the entertainment team speak 2 or 3 languages, with English being one. The entertainment is all done in English too. It's really not a problem and didn't effect our stay in the slightest.

Overall, absolutely loved our stay here. Rooms were spot on too. Thank you, we hope to be back.

Great holiday hotel

We have just returned from a 2 week stay at this lovely place. All the staff were courteous and helpful but a special thank you to Maria from the Taverna for being so lovely to our son. The main pool can get a bit crowded and sunbeds do get reserved with towels and then not visited all day which was frustrating but there are two other pools and a beautiful beach. Food was good especially Greek night. The free visit to the Taverna is a must. Can think of very little negative to say about this hotel.

Two fun, relaxing weeks

Very nice hotel with great staff and animation team.
All staff working hard to keep the guests happy. Personally I think that the volume of the mic and music on the activities could be a little bit louder to get more people to hear it and participate.
The food is great and there's a lot of choices for everyone.
