Just finished a week's stay in this fabulous hotel. It is in the perfect location right on the beach and a 20 minute walk along the beach promenade into the old town of Rethymnon. The whole hotel is impeccably clean, grounds are kept beautifully and rooms are clean, spacious and well air conditioned. All staff from the hotel manager to the waiting staff, cleaners and groundsmen are incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful. Despite the hotel being busy, there was always plenty of space around the large pool with free sun beds and umbrellas. Couldn't fault it, thank you for a wonderful holiday!

We are a family of 4 with 2 teenage kids aged 13 and 18. First trip to Crete. The hotel is in the perfect location overlooking the beach and a 30 mins stroll to Rethymno harbour. This makes the beach area not crowded. I am writing this review as we come to the end of a 2 week stay half board. The biggest positive is the staff. They are so helpful, friendly and cater for all of your needs. From the minute we walked in,they have made our holiday perfect. Christos and Nexteria in particular have been so helpful and charming through our stay. To be honest every member of staff in this hotel are great!!! The food has been incredible both breakfast and dinner. We did not need to eat out at all as the chefs ensured the menu was varied every day. We love trying new dishes and the Greek food on offer was up with any restaurant. Car hire also very competitive and easy to arrange direct from hotel. Our room was cleaned every day and spotless as is the entire hotel. I would suggest the management should add photos of the food they prepare onto their site as this is something that is not being promoted well. Would definitely come back again!!!!!!
A wonderful hotel in a great location

Our stay here was superb. A hotel that is full of staff who are all absolutely charming and so helpful, that provide plentiful breakfasts each morning, that has a lovely pool area and the sandy beach opposite has beds exclusively for Atlantis Beach guests along with staff on hand to get you drinks and food from the hotel. Rethymnon is a large resort and this hotel is about a 20-30 minute stroll to the harbour/old town. The walk though is lined by the beach on one side and shops, restaurants and bars on the other, so its a lovely walk. Infact it was during our walks, we noticed that the beaches became more busy with beds the nearer you got to the old town, so we really did think our hotel was in a fantastic location. A taxi to old town/harbour was 5 euros. We were travelling as a family of 4 with son age 18 and daughter age 15. There was an excellent gym just 2 buildings away that my son went to each day (20euros per week) whilst the rest of us were very happy to be lazy. Eating out in Rethymnon was a gastronomic feast each night. Their portion sizes are HUGE! Meals ranged from (for starters, 4 main meals, wine, beer and pop) 60 euros to 140. We found that by exploring the alleyways in old town, we stumbled across really authentic tavernas, run by families and we had the best meals there (and the cheapest!). We had a wonderful holiday at The Atlantis Beach Hotel.

The hotel is situated in a premium location, right across the beach and in close distance to restaurants, shops, pubs and the Fortezza Castle. The staff is very friendly, the variety of breakfast and dinner buffet is very good also.
Hotel with human touch !

Having stayed in other hotels in Rethymno, this hotel was an extremely lovely surprise for me and my husband. Friendly staff, very helpful and looking after every single detail. Terrasse with sunset for dinner just in front of the sea; buffet was very good (the Chef tried to always have 1 new dish and also Greek food). I asked for a very quiet room and I got it (thank you for that!). I felt really very well and for sure I will come back.
As perfection does not exist, I would just raise 1 point: ending timings for dinners are important but would it be possible to ask the personnel not to remove everything 5 mins before the end of the dinner and also to wait that both persons sitting have finished before removing everything (this would be more 'elegant' and less stressful - well, I am Italian and my husband is French and we enjoy food and taking the time to taste it :)) ?
A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL THE PERSONNEL and to MANAGEMENT.
