What People are saying
great budget hotel
janetteandlairdon 15/04/2015 19:38For 2 nights in Hanoi the rooms were reasonably priced and very clean with some really nice touches, like a laptop and sweets for the children alongside a reasonably priced mini bar. The service were was excellent, the team were really helpful and nothing was too much trouble, a good option if staying in Hanoi for a few nights.
Excellent
jiachernon 02/02/2015 16:11Although it's not a luxurious hotel, the rooms are clean and neat. Our three nights stay at there were comfortable. The staffs there are so friendly and helpful. And the hotel is strategically located at hanoi old quarter which I think is the best place to know hanoi well. This hotel is highly recommended.
Great hotel!
Mr_S_Caion 22/12/2014 10:30Stayed here in December. We booked a Halong bay trip mi-stay and were able to leave out bags at the hotel for 3 days (2nights) without having to pay extra. This was great as we were worried about our luggage but nothing was stolen and everything was as we left it.
The bad:
The family room was small and the outside facing window faced a giant concrete wall so there was no view.
The good:
The room were very clean on the inside and very comfortable.
The rooms were also affordable.
The breakfast buffet was very limited but was a small bonus.
The air conditioning was great.
There is complimentary toilet items like shampoo and soap etc.
The reception also helped us call a taxi at 4/5am so we wouldn't miss our train and the taxi ride was only 20 mins in the morning.
A tip when booking is to show the reception a lower price online, via tripme or another booking site and the reception will price match it.
Overall, I would recommend this hotel, we enjoyed our stay here very much.
Great Service and Value
Sally Son 05/11/2014 05:08Buffet breakfasts most days of the week (plate breakfasts when not), room spa service, motor bike rental and visa assistance, as well as taxi, wifi and lobby computer, conference room, and beautiful decor make this hotel great. Many rooms don't have windows, but there is no noise because of this, which is a gift in the noisy streets of Hoan Kiem. Laundry service is good, though a bit expensive, and the roof leaks. Staff will store your luggage if caught between check-in and check-out times. You can rest assured that you'll have a quiet sleep after a massage if you like and wake to a tasty breakfast before starting your day. I stayed at this hotel for two weeks and was sad to go.
Eye-opener
Hendrik Bon 07/10/2014 17:14We stayed in this hotel (which changed name to "Atrium" during our stay) for over a week. All staff are very helpful and kind. The hotel areas and our room were very clean. Bathroom is excellent, the best of our trip in Vietnam.
During our stay we encountered some minor issues, but the staff quickly and promptly resolved them for us.
Highly recommended!
PS: there was some construction work during our stay due to the name change. The owner informed us that before her take-over, the hotel was quite dirty, as older reviews point out. Not so anymore!
