Lovely hotel in heart of Megeve
SarahCuthbert16on 07/06/2017 08:10Lovely hotel in heart of Megeve. Room was clean and modern. Staff very friendly. Breakfast was extra and continental. Pool was clean and well maintained. Overall would defiantly recommend. Didn't eat in restaurant but food looked very good and a great selection of wines.
If your looking for a good base to stay in whilst visiting the town this would be perfect.

Paticas84on 15/02/2017 15:07Au Vieux Moulin is a cozy Hotel right near all the action in Megeve. The hotel itself has a typical classic european chalet vibe, which is comfortable enough rooms but not over the top luxury. Don't expect a modern bathroom, just what you need for your stay.
The staff was very nice and helped us through our stay. Breakfast was good but could use more variety. Location is walking distance to everything you need, the gondola that takes you everywhere is a few blocks away. My only complain would be the noise we heard every morning from the parking lot, closing the windows didn't help. Overall it was a pleasant stay, just what we needed, nothing more nothing less.
Comfort and joy at le Vieux-Moulin

convenient. You can go skiing very easily, or just have a stroll in the village,
very charming. Lots of places to have coffee or lunch.
The hotel is very cosy, the personnel is very helpful and friendly.
I had a beautiful room, very peaceful and quiet. The staff were friendly and the
restaurant had a very good chef. I warmly recommend this hotel.
For the weekend

It is a very calm place but nevertheless very central (2min from the village center). Facilities are good (spa, pool etc.) and the breakfast is very rich. All in all a charming and nice place. We will surely come back.
Excellent Accommodation in Megeve
Intrepidtravellersx4on 06/09/2016 16:47We stayed at the Vieux Moulin during a cycling race from Nice to Geneva. The staff were great - very helpful and pleasant. Our room was very comfortable and appropriately appointed with v good shower facilities. A small balcony was a nice touch as well. We would have appreciated air conditioning but the balcony doors provided some cooling. Breakfast was very good.
