GeoffBassMasteron 11/08/2017 22:48In the walking only part of the center. Easy to find once you get there just look for the clock tower and everytime I seen the Macdonalds I knew I was close. Biggest room so far in switzerland. With a kitchenette your set. It's expensive to eat out so you can save a dollar. Plus the selection of meat and cheese at stores blew me away. first night I cooked smoked quail legs I bought. Fastest wifi yet. More than enough closets and dressers to fully unpack. Just keep in mind the winding staircase may be a burden with big suite cases. Well worth the money for the location. A personal favorite.
Great place near the farmers market and old downtown
puremegaon 25/06/2017 14:33It was a good stay and I only dropped the rating because I purposefully booked a large room (with the corresponding higher price) even though I was alone because I wanted space. Because my booking was for a single I was moved to a smaller room but still charged the higher price. When I complained I was told there was nothing they could do because I booked with a third party website. This earns a downgrade. The hotel itself is decent. No elevator and narrow stairs but if that isn't a problem there is nothing bad abut the accommodations. Beds are nice, wifi works, fan provided, even a small fridge and sink. Make sure you get what you pay for and this is a good place.
Castle experience
Daria Don 31/07/2015 19:20We lived in the biggest room. Perfect location, attentive staff and clean rooms. The interior looks like you enter the castle many years ago, adding unique experience. The room is spacious. All the kitchen items are on its places. A bit expensive, but it costs to come there even once!
Breakaway
CoastersBaron 24/06/2015 14:15My wife and I enjoyed a weekend break in Switzerland and were delighted with out accommodation. We stayed in "the Cinema" suite. With everything you would need in a tidy cosy room we were left very impressed. Too marks! Recommended! We will be back!
Charming and comfortable
Keith Ron 10/10/2014 10:40I stayed here fir two nights. I really appreciated the independence of staying here as it gave a sense of a home away from home ie no reception, etc. I stayed in the Loft, Very spacious and well furnished with an abundance of character. I'll definitely return.
