Trout farm hotel restaurant in isolated location
Skibum63on 14/06/2017 11:44In need of some money spending on it, but nonetheless an adequate stop-over, as long as you like trout, trout and more trout on the menu!
Disappointing breakfast for hungry cyclists with a long day ahead consisting of prepared trays of croissants, bread, packets of butter, jam, fruit salad, and orange juice. The farm has pleasant views surrounding this quiet valley. Plenty of chickens, geese and a resident peacock around.
Brilliant, good value
Shirley Aon 21/06/2015 20:47If you do not like fish, drive on by, but if you do you are in for a treat (truit- ha ha) because that's pretty well all they have. This is a trout farm, with rooms (plus a flock of chickens and a peacock.) Room was on the basic side but clean and excellent value. Food - trout of course - again pretty straightforward but excellent value and freshly caught. Breakfast good. Quiet, picturesque setting. A lovely stop. Excellent value overall.
