Lovely hotel
green1501on 20/07/2017 22:18Hotel is a little bit outside of town but don't let that put you off.
Rooms were lovely and spacious, air con was very good, wifi worked well, and staff were very pleasant, friendly and efficient.
There is a busy road near by but with the doors shut it didn't bother us at all.
Restaurant also looked good but we accidentally slept in and missed breakfast!

Between the Forest and the University
anonymous708934on 17/06/2017 12:50A very pleasant 6 night stay at this lovely hotel, situated on the edge of a forest and just 10 minutes' walk from Tilburg University.
The rooms are spacious and pleasant, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the restaurant is superb. Buffet breakfasts were great.
No laundry service, but access to washer/dryer facilities may be arranged on request.
There are many walking trails in the forest; jogging there is very pleasant.
Tilburg itself is not as picturesque as Delft or Leiden, so the Auberge du Bonheur is a worthwhile alternative to downtown accommodation.
Nice hotel, in a nice setting, but too near the main noisy road

Nice room, well decorated, modern, with a kettle, coffee and tea. Bathroom rather simple and standard.
Good mattress. We had a balcony where to relax and a table inside the room, with even a microwave and sink.
TV: lacking of international and European channels. No DVD player nor film library.
Outside, a convenient lift.
Good polite check in.
A key drawback: as soon as you open the window, or that you sit in the garden, you hear the noises of the cars... the main road being just in front. Too bad, since the location and the garden of the hotel are really nice.
The breakfast buffet is rather standard, but ok. No special dish, nor local food. Bread quality and variety could be improved. And it is rather difficult to access the buffet once you are two or three persons. We had to queue few times to get a coffee.
A bit overpriced, but a good choice.

Val Or Son 20/04/2017 14:27Location is good for me and my wife how wants calm environment, good qalitity room with sunny balcony and good view and high class Michelin star restaurant. Important to order you dinner in time on the restaurant. I can warmly recommend that.
