Good restaurant & food; mediocre accommodation
Paula Non 23/03/2015 16:49The high quality of the food and service at dinner and breakfast just didn't make up for the poor accomodation. Our pokey room with paper thin walls overlooking the car park had a bathroom seldom found these days - a shower that didn't work, plaster peeling off the wall, cracked basin with no plug. The rooms are accessed via a back door with a toilet area containing wash basin and hand dryer, and the restaurant is accessed from the same area via a grubby door.
Comfortable, friendly, great restaurant.
Deswahriffon 07/10/2014 15:20..recently refurbed, I guess, our room was reasonably spacious, neat and comfy and made a perfectly fine overnight stop. Our welcome was friendly and efficient.
As is often the case with hotels like this in the "Logis de France" group, the restaurant was superb - lovely presentation, inventive dishes and reasonable pricing with a variety of fixed price menus from €14 to €25, which together with a decent ambience and a window table made for a very pleasant evening.
Excellent Meal and Comfortable overnight stay
Les684on 14/06/2014 21:34Yes, this may not be the most fashionable hotel in the world, but the staff were very welcoming and the food was delicious and very good value for money. The room was clean and functional and we slept very well. Overall good value.
This hotel is close to the Route du cidre, so a good stopping off point for anyone meandering through the lovely Normandy countryside on holiday.

good things: maybe location in the centre of the village full of cute half-timbered houses?
to be very honest it's hard to justify the reason to come back here...
Good improvised lunch
Australiafrancophileon 30/03/2012 12:08We were late seeking out a lunch venue.We arrived here after the usual lunch period and rather than simply turning us away, the lady proprietor kindly organised an "assiette de hors d'oeuvre" of cold meat/pate and salad with bread for us for 6.30 euros each.A bargain and very kind.A nice dining room too.
